| Kizzy has never had a collar on. I've never even bought her one. she has the step in harness she wears all day most of the time and I take if off at night. when she goes out I either put a leash on her or I stay right with her till she wets or whatever. I keep her out at least 10 to 15 min. late at night I let her run out alone to tee but I always stand on the deck then call her and she comes right in the house. So I have her rabies tag and identification tag on her harness. It has two hooks that meet to hook her leash to. I have a tag on each hook. I dont have her name on her anywhere. I only let them put our last name, address phone # and the vets name and phone # so if anyone ever does take her or find her they wont know what her name is to call her by. But I was told at the start, they need a harness and not a collar.because of the trachea thing.

| All of mine wear collars. They tend to like to chew on harnesses even step in ones, they will chew right through it, they leave the collars alone though.

| I leave Buttercup's collar (it's a well-fitted bracelet) on, inside and outside, with a bell and his id tag on everyday. He is very small and my house is pretty big so I need to know where he is (with the bell) |

| My Boxer and chihuhua wear decorative collars or necklaces for my chihuahua but I never put a collar on Chloe. Chloe being so small is a lot more likely to crawl thru a tiny space which I am always worried she could get caught up on something if she was wearing a collar. Plus Im afraid of it getting stuck in her hair and irritating her.

| My special guy wears his harness in the house if we are home. (Makes it easier to respond to his message that he needs to go out!) His tags are attached to it. Just in case he should get loose when walking outside, there would be ID. If he is going to be alone in the house, we always remove the harness. I worry it might get caught on something and no one would be home to take care of it. When it's time for , his harness is removed. He will never wear a collar, something that is very bad for small dogs. |

| My girls wear their collars all the time. I don't have a fenced yard so when they need out, I just clip on the rope that is tethered in the yard and out they go. I know it is dangerous for them to wear collars but I have them both in the break away cat collars and it helps me feel a little bit better. They run away if not tied up.
