| My older furbaby, Foofy, is a jumper. he won't allow anyone to hold him comfortably if they're standing. he sometimes jump off at least 5' off the ground and hurt himself but still won't learn from jumping off people. hmmm...I was wondering if something bad happened to him prior to coming home w/ me

| Kobe was never a real jumper. Couch only. But, Kali so far is fearless and attempts everything over and over again. I am already a nervous wreck she is really going to hurt herself. |

| my little bay is only 9wks. old and a little over a pound and he always looks like hes about to make a leap off the bed, its like he gets himself ready to jump so i have to either call him to snap him out of his i dea or grab him and put him on the floor myself... |

| It is very hard to stop them doing that. Ella tries to follow the cat jumping off all the furniture. That scares me a bit! |

| Hobbs jumped from the couch the second day we had him. He wouldn't put his leg down the rest of the night. So, we took him to the vet emergency room. They did an xray and found he had a hairline fracture. So, they wrapped it up in a splint, which he had to wear for 3 weeks. But since he got it off, he is as good as new! No problems since!! But I know how you feel....it's scarey when something like that happens! |

| Agree Wholeheartedly YES PLEASE WATCH YOUR DOGS WHEN THEY JUMP. Our oldest yorkie jumped off a couch and cried like nothing I had ever heard. We rushed him to the vet to find out he had a torn ACL A week later he had to have surgery. Our little boy hasn't been the same since He now has terrible arthritis that has developed in that leg. Some days he can't even walk on it. Other days he is hunched over in pain and shaking uncontrollably. he now regularly takes three different medications for pain and inflammation and has to go in for shots. And it's all as a result of the injury to his back leg. He used to love running up and down the stairs...and now just stands there staring at you until you get him. The worst part through the whole was seeing him try to make his bed (you know where they dig and kick and bunch up the covers?) and he couldnt because of his bad leg So please...don't let that happen to you. It's heartbreaking when something goes terribly wrong
