| I'm going to say yes for this reason (and I could be wrong ), when I give them to Baby she doesn't "eat" them. She gnaws at them. They don't get sticky like greenies, and I don't think they break apart. But as I said, this is my experience with them.

| They are no better or worse than greenies. If your dog is a chewer than any of these are just fine. If your dog isn't a chewer than his/her regular food can harm them.

| I give mine both My girls have the hard nylabones, and the cornstarch type. They are really good about knawing on them, and don't try to truly eat them. I think they have to be safer than Greenies.

| My Tilly, totally ate hers in like 45 min. From getting it out of the package to all gone. Maggie on the other hand still has the entire bone left. I put it up so Tilly wouldn't eat it.

| I bought Sully a hard chicken flavored one (the plasticy kind) and he wouldn't touch it. We also have bought him the healthy edibles kind and he loves those but I wanted something he could chew on that wouldn't fill his tummy.

| We bought Bailey one (I can't remember what flavor) and he won't touch it. Do some dogs prefer flavors?....I just assumed he didn't like nylabone.

| Bridget LOVES the Healthy Edibles bones! Especially the Bacon or Peanut flavored ones. I agree, I think they are much better than greenies - they're digestable! I have to ration them she likes them so much! Loved the photo of the small piece Smudger left! Bridget chews them down to about that size too and then leaves them around for me to find... got a present of one on my pillow the other day... |
