I paid $1000 for my Lily in western CO from a small breeder. She is eligible for AKC registration - I probably won't get the papers though, don't plan on breeding her. She is definitely worth every penny!!! :p |
I paid 950 for Gia from a breeder in GA she came with all her papers |
$0, and he came with AKC papers, all shots, a collar, a leash and a name that I liked. I would never dish out more than $400 for a dog. Screw that! |
I paid $400 for Louie and $700 for Elle. The breeder just wanted to hurry up and get rid of Louie cause he was going on 10 weeks old. ( and the breeder knew he was gonna be a big dog) And the funny thing is I got Elle when she was 10 1/2 weeks old. |
I paid 1800 for Charlie, from a small breeder in the business 20 yrs. and saw both parents, Charlie is very healthy except he was a crypt orchid. Surgery went fine and he is bouncing round the house. He is 7 mos. and weighs 5 lbs. Worth every penny. Breeder is in Michigan. AKC registered. Charlies brothers : Arlo miniature poodle no papers but purebred from a small local breeder 9 yrs. old 250.00lucked out with Arlo great dog great health breeder later called me and asked if she should charge more for her pups and I said definitely. Bosley teacup poodle 3 lbs 5 yrs old. from breeder in Kentucky 2500 Alfie toy poodle (suppose to be teacup) from breeder in Tennessee 900. Disreputable breeder. Dog a bit overbred and high strung. These babies are all priceless to me and while we need to do our research I really do believe more often than not you get what you pay for. :animal36 |
yorkies galore Colby was $450 and that was with AKC and ACA Sadee was $800 and that was wuth AKC and we have full papers on both. |
$700 for Chewy. AKC reg and full papers. Was $800 at the begining of our conversation, but when I was writing out the check, the breeder said $700. Pricing is all over the board huh? Some for $400 - $5000 on some website - wow! |
$1500 for the Princess Amazing Grace of Greystone. She is priceless to us. |
I'd scoop up your BIRO male in a heartbeat if i didnt live on the other side of the COUNTRY lol. I paid 700 for Katie, CKC registered and 850 for Tonka, but really traded him in part for a HORSE lmao...My BIL is a breeder and we had a horse he wanted that wasn't getting used, so it was a trade. Kristie |
$600.00 each for Satch, male and Sammi, female, Satch cane from KY. and has CKC papers. Sammi came from Richmond,In. and is AKC reg. Nothing like a Yorkie!!:p |
Sampson was 200.00, the last pup left in the litter. My friends had him and I just couldn't resist his sweet yorkie eyes that said "I want to go home with you". No papers, his parents were rescued in Kuwait. I paid 800.00 for Sophie and she is so perfect (AKC). The lady I bought her from was great. Never had on problem with her....she is so sweet. Isis is their puppy and we kept her... |
Dumb question....help What does Biro mean??? Sorry, but this has stumped me???? |
0$ One of my mom's coworkers didn't want Regan anymore, so she gave her to me knowing that I had been begging my mom for a Yorkie at the time. Plus, she gave us her papers (AKC) and a cute little collar, all for free. |
I paid $850.... Guess I'm the 133rd person to post here --- just curious - has anyone read all the previous posts????? Not me!!!! Carol Jean |
yep... So, I have no life.....because....... STILL LOOKING FOR MY YORKIE!!!! LOL |

I kind of got took on my Mariposa (Mari) She was $2500!! She is a little darling though and has turned out at 3.4 lbs. My husband still whines about the $$ but I tell him she's really worth $10,000, that shuts him up. The breeder GAVE me Angel Baby. She is the smallest dog she ever had and has a problem in her cerebrial area of the brain causing her to have a hard time walking. They named her Angel Baby because they thought she would never make it. She was 1/2 oz at birth. She had a will to live and was a good eater. The breeder, knowing me, knew I could give her ALL my attention. When I got her she was 1.1 lb at 9 mos old. Now she is a whopping 1.7 and turned a year June 9. She is truely a gift from God and I love her dearly. She is doing Very well physically and even tries to run, although she looks drunk. She is basically like cerebrial palsy. |
$500.00 each!!! $500.00 each for our Cleo & Ceasar. They are from our friends who have both the parents. Cleo & Ceasar are sibling & from the same litter. Cleo is 4.5 lbs. & Ceasar is 6.5 lbs. They would turn two this 5th of August. :) |
i'm getting rocky for 600 with his papers and AKC registered. next saturday is the big day:D |
$1700 AKC Registered, female. (The males are going for $1500) |
$125 for Buster. Obviously not registered and without papers. |
We paid $1,200 for Lexi (3.3 lbs.) & got her when she was 10 weeks old. She is now 1 1/2 years old. We just bought Cricket (2.4 lbs) on Monday and she is 2 1/2 years old. We paid $900 for Cricket. The lady that we bought her from said that she paid $1,200 for her when she was a puppy. Both are AKC registered. I am now the happiest mom in the world with 2 of them!!! |
Hi, I paid $1000 for Trixie Bear (4lb. female) and I paid $1800 for Princess Pia (2lb. female) Yorkies are so $$$$ but worth every bit. Both my babies are AKC registered with champion lines but I never plan to show them and could have cared less to get the papers. They are pets only and I would never ever think to breed them. (TOOOOO SMALLLL) Trixie has been fixed but Pia is currently in heat so when its done she will get spayed. She's just hitting 2lbs. and I'm so afraid to have it done. :aimeeyork |
Last year for my birthday my grandmother bought me Max and this year for her birthday we bought her Molly and after our garage sale I will be getting my little almost named girl!!!!! |
We paid $2000 for Gaby and she is worth the entire cost. She is registered and she has a micro chip. We went to South missouri for her. |
I paid $2200 for Huck. I did TONS of research and looked for literally months before deciding on the breeder I ultimately chose. I had every indication she was knowledable and trustworthy. I was told he would be around 2.5 - 3 lbs, that he had a great coat, and an "impressive" pedigree. Well, he's just over 5 months and weighs 3 lbs 6 oz. There was only one champion listed on his 3 generation pedigree. And, now, I've discovered there is a good chance he has a wiry coat. I'm not dissapointed with Huck at all. How could I be? He's great puppy, with a super temperment. But, I do think I was way overcharged. Especially after reading all these posts. :( |
HI!! We live in Los Angeles CA, so Yorkies are SUPER SUPER expensive out here with all of these CELEBRITIES carrying them around like they are another accessory! We paid $350.00 for Bubbles! Got her for a great price, because of MANY MANY REASONS! 1. Tail NOT docked (I could care less though) 2. Dewclaws NOT removed (she is an indoor dog, so this doesnt matter either!!) 3. He lived hours out of L.A, so we had a drive! He said that he had a really hard time finding homes for his pups, because he lived in a SUPER secluded area in the mountains!! 4. He didn't own a kennel and wasnt even a serious breeder, he was a BYB. I did get to see her momma and papa though, they were SUPER cute! Luckily for us, Bubbles is really really healthy! No health problems! We lucked out!! You get what you pay for, isnt always the case (it usually is though!!) I feel like Bubbles is PERFECT, I would have paid 10XXX that! |
3 Attachment(s) I got Peaches for $1,200 but she is worth every bit of it. She is now about 7 mths old and 2.9 pounds weighed today. Very healthy, Active , Loving and Playful. Now my daughter who is 16 bought one for $700 and his name is Rascal. he is 3 mths and is a fatty... lol... He weighs 2.6 :) What a cutie he is...
