Buttercup is APRI registered..paid $750 |
WOW, there really is a wide range of prices for our little ones. Ok here is my list of prices that we paid. Sir Lance..$1100.00-AKC Lady Gwen..$1000.00 -AKC(shipping was $250.00) for each one, also have a couple of champions in their lines, they are from Mississippi. Lil Bear..$2800.00-AKC AnnaRose and Sammy Jo..$2400.00 -AKC each, all three are from Oklahoma and have close to 100 champions in their lines.(shipping was $250.00 each) Sophia..$1100.00 (shipping $250.00) from Brazil she is ACA, 2 champions. Toby..$2100.00-AKC (shipping $185.00) from Texas and 1 champion, I was scammed on him, he is not able to breed, I want to sell him as a pet only, he is 2.5 lbs... I would go back to the Oklahoma breeders as they have the quality and I have not had any issues with them at all. I love them all......... |
$600 for Napoleon with AKC papers. |
Sissy was $1200. She is eligible for AKC registration, just never sent in the paper work and don't really care!! |
Seymour was 400$ |
Trixie was $650 from a breeder in MN. She's AKC registered. |
I paid $ 1000 for my little female Kissie nine months ago from a breeder in Miami. (the male she had was $ 900). They were sold as teacups, but without registration. For me she is priceless. |
My babies I paid $400 for Kramer 9 years ago when we lived in Chicago. He was AKC registered. I paid $900 for Dylan (my red leg yorkie) 2 months ago. He can be CKC registered. I rescued my chihuahua, Maddie 3 years ago for $195. No paperwork or previous history provided as she was a run away. |
tpaxton23, I was just curious, your little dylan is a red legged yorkie? Do you have a pic you can post because I think my sasha might be one too. I also paid $900 for her in nov. She was born on sept 14th she is ckc registered and I don't think she looks anything like a yorkie. I cannot even get her ears to stand no matter what I try. I love her all the same but I was just curious. Thanks meeshue |
Sebastian was $900. She let me have him for $800 not including shipping otherwise he was going to the puppy mill. I was searching the internet for yorkies and ran across her web site. I sent her an email and she immediately responded. She was actually trying to help her friend by posting Srbastian's pictures on her website. She felt bad and didn't want Sebastian to go to the puppy mill so when I actually talked to her, she said if I was really interested she would knock off $100. I sent her the money the next day and I had Sebastian by the weekend!! I would have paid $900 for him. He was just too cute to let him go. If I had the means, I would have gotten his brother too. I got him from a breeder in Oklahoma. I am getting him AKC registered soon. Will have pics up soon too!! |
Meeshue 3 Attachment(s) Here is a picture of Dylan. I have had several members on here tell me that he probably is a red leg yorkie. I don't mind too much as I usually keep my yorkies coat short anyway for ease. These pictures are a couple of weeks old. It almost seems like his hair has gotten even shorter in the last couple of weeks. I think it is breaking off because it is so brittle. His red coloring on his legs is actually starting to move higher on his legs onto his front shoulders. The black coloring on his back is starting to turn silver already also. I'm really curious as to what he will look like when he is older. He is 19 weeks old now and weighed 3 lbs even when I had him at the vet last week. Do you have any pictures of your puppy? I would love to see her. |
I paid $750.00 for Parker. His dad is akc, His mom is ckc.. So had to register him as ckc. Hubby thinks I paid $200.00....DUH!!! He has no clue. :p What he doesnt know wont hurt him (right???) We love Parker so much, He is one spoiled boy!!! |
Let's see... Gizmo (AKC) $600 here in town! With great great lines and Champ sired! He has 21 Champs in his last 6 generations too! He was a wonderful deal and right after him the price jumped liked crazy at his breeders. Last I heard a female that was 1/2 sister of Gizmo was going for $2000. A big jump! Zaylee (AKC) was $1300 with 2 Champion in background. Drove about 2 hours to get her. Paris was $1500 with almost as many as Gizmo's Champions, but some are UKC Champions. Drove about 2 hours to get her. Halle (Biewer Yorkie) was $3500 AND I had to fly to PA go and get her...so almost $4000. BeeGee (Biewer Yorkie) was $2000 and that included shipping all the way from Germany! Only had to drive to Detroit (2 hours). |
So many yorkies... Are you a breeder? |
Maddie was $2,000 and worth every cent. :D |
Emilee and Joey $800, Gidget (one stud service) and Izzie was from Joey and Emilee's littler. |
BumbleBee I got her free. She is ACA reg. Her original price was $800. My sister gave her to me. |

It was for purely selfish reasons I gave her to you! lol I get to still see her and be a part of her life! :D |
Chewbacca was $600 with papers. He was a steal at that price. The next highest I could find was $1000 in this area. |
i live in mississippi and yorkies are usually $400 for males and $450 for females. that's pretty much standard. and once a month there is a HUGE flea market where people come to sell all kinds of dogs. they sell a bajillion yorkies there. |

Many charge pick of the litter, which is the price of a puppy. Others claim that is way too much. |

They are just different registries. If you don't plan to show or breed, the registration papers don't mean much. many people don't even bother sending them in. |
2 Attachment(s) tpaxton23, I am posting a pic or 2 for you to see. I cannot get a good pic of her standing. She is 8mths old and has very little hair on her head. Her coat is coming in nicely but I am still concerned about her short head hair. After looking at eveyones babies, at 8mths she should have alot more hair. Thanks for the reply and by the way dylan is a sweetie!!!!!!!!!:animal36 |
Im not going to list what I paid for my dogs, don't want anyone to choke, lol ..but I will say the LEAST I paid for Yorkie, my first..was $600. He ended up oversized, huge dumbo ears, long muzzle, roach backed, hated kids and other dogs, AND had a life threatening heart conditon which required surgery. SO in that case, I very much got what I paid for, but was too "un-informed" on the breed to know better at the time...I just wanted a PUPPY! I will say that when I do on occasion have puppies (which is not often) the prices range from 1000-2000 depending on each dog. All puppies I have produced are either Champion sired, or the males are working towards their championships currently. I only breed for myself (selfish I know..lol) and spare no expense with health and genetic testing on the puppies and their parents, socialization, top of the line foods and supplements, as well as LOVE. They start out from quality parents, and a lot of thought and research goes into planning each litter. It's hard to put a price on that. |

I wish all breeders were like you. The breeders that pay no mind to genetics and breeding out errors are the ones responsible for making yorkies that don't look like they are supposed to. Even though every dog is precious, it is important to keep a yorkie a yorkie. That is what breed standards are for. It took me a long time to learn that buying a dog requires some self-education. |

My father went with me to a show once, and we were discussing breeding as we were walking in. He asked me why I wasn't just happy to show the dogs, and not breed anything ever. As he asked that question, we passed a "Yorkie" walking the other direction. I pointed to the dog and quietly asked him what breed he thought that dog was. He answered a WESTIE..LOL I turned to him and said THAT is why. When yorkies start looking like Westies, there's a problem! :) |

Thank you Jeanie! |
We paid $800 each for both of our girls. Maggie our oldest doesn't have papers but Tilly does. |
