| New Baby at Home - Do I have a problem? I resently lost my 6 year old Yorkie to a snake bite. Was absolutely heart broken. Found a breeder in a nearby town and got the last puppy she had. The new puppy had ringworm, which we are treating and one hear that wasn't standing...we fixed this. Now I have another problem or two. I didn't realize one or two things when we were getting her that I see now...this won't make a difference about keeping her but I'm just interested. My Bella was a 5lb Yorkie and very petite. This one (Pixie) has big feet and at 4 months is weighing in at 3.5 pounds. I've also noted that there is only short hair on the legs. Can anyone tell me about how big she may get and why only short hair on the leg? The breeder said she will be AKC and CKC registered. Thanks, Sise |

| I would guess maybe 7 lbs full grown which should be just fine as a playmate for your 5 pounder. As far as short hair on the legs, at 4 months she is still pretty young. Some grown hair slower than others. I wouldn't worry about it. Post pics if you have them and I'm sure you will get lots of opinions.

| Welcome to YT!!!! Not sure about her size, but she's a puppy and it takes time for her coat to grow in. Can you post some pictures? We would love to see them.
