| Greenies are great for their teeth! I buy the petites and cut them up into three pieces. I give one each night when I need a break! Ha! It really keep0s their teeth clean and breath smelling good! All natural ingredients too. As for dog food! I give Snoodles Science Diet and she is doing real good. Why don't you people think it is not a good food? I will certainly change her if it is a bad food! Thanks! Pat |

| I was ready to post the same question, when I realized it was posted already. I have a problem with Nina & Coby. They to not stop itching! They went from Eucanuba to Royal Canine to now Nutro. They are good eaters, but no luck with there itching. The Vet said to give them Benadryl, It works for about a couple hours and then it's back. I don't know what else to try. Does anymore give there yorkies just homemade food? Chicken, Beef? Please help! |

| I'm not sure I would give them Bendryl, just because I take it and it makes one feel so groggy. What is the underlaying problem? That's what you need to know. Maybe try a different shampoo and conditioner, or bathe less. At any rate,I would like to know why they are itchy! Pat |

It's a Soap free Hypoallergenic Shampoo. They still itch. My Vet says unfortunately Yorkies are allergic to almost anything and unfortunately we also live in florida, Very bad for allergies. I just wish I could find the solution for there itching.

We are in Florida, also. My Ruby was really scratchy and had those little bumps when we got her...I used puppy shampoo for the first bath (although she is one, this is what I already had)...she still scratched, so at PetCo I found "Four Paws Hypo Allergenic medicated shampoo for pets with aloe vera & coal tar used by Veterinarians for the relief of dandruff, dermatitis, itching and dry skin." I have used this four or five times now (weekly bath) and with each washing see a softer coat and much less scratching. The bumps were gone after the first washing. The vet said coal tar and oatmeal are essential ingredients for skin problems. The bottle is ugly (sorry, I'm in advertising so I notice these things)..it is white with a picture of a husky... hope it helps...oh, by the way, do you use any kind of carpet sprinkle before you vacuum...?? That could be a problem..... What about Missing Link?

| Well I just got back from petco. and I purchased Solid Gold - Lamb and Rice. I also purchased Missing Link. I will start them on this tomorrow and see how it goes. I threw away all there treats and starting fresh with the solid gold treats as well. I'm avoiding the corn, chicken and wheat. and of course any by product meal. I do pray that this works. I've been told that I should wait at least three months to see a difference, I do hope it's much sooner than that. I'll look for the shampoo sometime this week. I'll let everybody know the outcome of all of this hopefully soon! |

| Gosh Good Luck! Glad I don't have that problem with Snoodles. It must be awful to see them scratching all the time. I am also going to change her food away from Science Diet! Here I thought I was doing her such a good deed! Will try to find Nutro Natural Choice Lamd and Rice Small bites. I guess that would be a good one? Hopefully! |
