| maybe getting a new yorkie We may be getting a new Yorkie. She is 5 years old and the the owners need to give her away because they work and have a baby and a new baby on the way. The are very upset that they cant keep her and they want to give her to a good home that wil love her and take good care of her. My concern is our 5 month old Yorkie Cooper. Will they get along with each other and Im sure that Hollie will miss her family. Should we take her or not. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would get them together and see what happens. I brought Cali into our home when Maya my Pom was 8 1/2 years old and she's snappy and does not like other dogsand they are ok together. They have their little tiffs but considering the age difference I think it went well. If the 5 year old is sweet like most Yorkies they should do fine. They probably will love each others company. Go for it. I wish someone would offer me an adult female Yorkie.lol

| I think that will work out fine. Especiallys since your guy is only 5 months he will be fine accepting another and she will be open since your family will all be new anyway. I was worried about my 3 yr old Lucy with my new 9 month old Milo -since Lucy had been annoyed before with other young male dogs..but she must have known that he is a newbie and needs TLC, because he has adjusted very well to her and she has actually been very nice to him. Ofcourse the only thing is that he always wants to hump her...LOL.
