| I have not found a groomer around here that charges less than $25. I pay $32 each +tip for a full service groom (brush, cut/trim, wash, dry, nail trim, clean ears, plucking of ear hair, bow/bandana, and massage). Petsmart and Petco charge between $35-$45 and they do a horrible job and Max and Abbie DON'T get a massage

| Wow you guys make me want to leave NY. A haircut and nail trim runs me $50 plus tip. Way more than I spend on my own hair.

| I pay $25 + $5 tip...but I just bought a set of clippers...will let you know how THAT turns out! Oscar is good to let me trim him in between groomings with scissors so I think he will be good for me. I will still take him to the groomer for the nails and anal glands tho...I just won't go there...I just thought of a neighbor that breeds Chihuahua's...she can do it for me!!!

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Boy am I getting a great deal. I found a great groomer who has a shop in her basement. She charges me $12 for shampoo, blow dry, ear trim, nail trim, feet trim and personal area trim plus tip. Jack comes back smelling sooooo good and feeling so soft. I have an appointment on Monday for both Jack and Jill. This will be Jill's first appointment with her. Jack's gonna get a puppy trim to get ready for the hot summer so I would guess that will be extra. Jack's been going once a month so now Jill will be also. Interesting to find out what groomers charge in other areas of the country. Good post!

| I pay 42.00 + 8 dollar tip. It includes, bath, trim, nails, ears, cologne, bandana and hair clips (if necessary). Very professional, sweet, groomer. She loves the animals and they love her. It's a lovely, clean place and she's so popular now (she only has been open for a couple of years and she's the top groomer in the city) that she's had to hire about 6 new staff members. All in all it's a calm, fun experience for Topher and he loves to go there. (plus it's a block from my house, which makes it all the better!) |

| $35.00 here in Illinois for small dogs. I also give her a $5.00 tip; so $40.00 per dog. Oh yes, and she does a small bandana for them and a little gift at Christmas if they're groomed then. |

| FREE!!! I do all grooming. I took Gus to PetSmart once to get groomed when he was a pup and never went back. It took me some time to get the ears down but I think I do a good job.

| I just paid $35 for a full groom, bath, cut, dry, ears, and nails. They said more if they are really matted.

| Our groomer is a mobile groomer and charges 30.00 per dog for small dogs. She is an amazing groomer who we have used for almost a year now. :-)

| I have only had Rocky groomed once but it was $15 it is a neighbor and she grooms out of her home. Our friend who has a Yorkie recommended her. I did not even think about giving a tip thinking that since she did it in her home then she worked for herself and could charge whatever she wanted. Maybe I was wrong???? I don't know. I do alot of the stuff myself but when i want the works all done I take him in. So far it has only been the one time. Maybe I should tip next time what do you think? |

I'd like to schedule an appointment please!!! Simon and Hallie cost me $150 and I'm getting ready to take them this Thursday for their short summer cuts. I only groom them a few times a year since I like their hair longer in the winter for warmth. | |

| Hello Everyone I am new here. I am owned by 2 Yorkies Heidi and Princess and here in Columbus Ga. where I take my babies there is 2 diffrent charges for the small dog. They charge me $25 per dog. This price includes a bath, with the hot oiltreatment hair cut, nails clipped, anal glands expressed, ear hair removed, bow or bandana, etc. So I Pay a total of $50. that is the total for both Yorkies and then if I need only a bath with hot oil treatment and just to clean around there face nails hair around there rear and they also get the bow and bandana I pay $15. for each dog. They go by appt.s If I take them in at 8 I have both back by 11. And I can trust all of them there. The owner has 5 Yorkies. Frances From Ga |
