What does your Groomer charge? After reading another post, wondering.. What does your groomer charge and what do you get? Mine is $20 for small dogs, and it includes, bath, nail trim, haircut,( no matter if it's a shave or just a trim) Clean ears, trims very good around eyes and butt. And a bow or bandana. My Bf takes his Cocker there also and her charge for him is $25, for a little bigger dog. |
Your groomer is cheap!! $45 bucks everywhere here. I am trying a mobile groomer that I haven't used before, but it'll be far more convenient than taking Ramsey somewhere....now she can get her "new do"...right here while I'm at work. $45 is the works you get for $20.... |
I am in the state of MD and they charge me $35 to have Tootsie groomed. That includes a bath, blow drying and trimming her nails if they need it. If I ask for a coat conditioner then it is $5 more. The girl that does her is GREAT! Sometimes I ask her to cut Tootsie's lenght...since she has the long coat it does tend to drag the floor so she will get a small trim...oh yes..and they include in that price a sanitary trim. Boy...wish I lived in OH....what great prices! When I lived in PA in the Harrisburg area there they charged $25 for all that. |
Plus, I forgot, If I'm letting his hair grow out, I can stop in and she will trim his nails for free, I usually give her 5-10 bucks, cause he is SO BAD about getting his nails done. I've watched it's not pretty, at all. |
I take my dogs to a place by my house. I only allow one woman there to groom them and I stay and watch the entire procedure -- I NEVER leave them alone there (I'm too suspicious) even though I love the woman who grooms them and I can clearly see that my pooches love her by all the kisses they give her. :) :) They charge me $40 per dog. This price includes a bath, cut/trim, nails clipped, anal glands expressed, ear hair removed, bow or bandana, etc. It pretty much covers EVERYTHING except a hot oil treatment. :) :) So if I take both my dogs on the same day, it costs me $80. Plus I give her a tip. |
Dreama's foster mom is a professional groomer! Chrisy kept Dreama for 8 months for a former grooming client while trying to find her a forever home. She is so thrilled to continue a relationship with her, that she only charges us $10 to beautifully groom Dreama! When she can, she also brings her 6 year old with her so that the little girl can play with her former doggy again! Isn't that cute?:D Wosie is free! I groom her myself. :p I used to bring Jasper and Angel to Petsmart, and it was $35 each.:( |

I used to pay £18 here in the uk with all the above except the bow, she was very good will go back if I ever get another yorkie. |
$20.00!!!!!! What a deal!! Our groomer is $55.00, I don't mind the cost, she takes Princess right away. And she call's me right before she's done, so Princess has no crate time there.:) :) :) |
$30.00 in Austin |
My groomer is $35. More if there is matts |
We pay $30 and I love our groomer. She does it out of her home (has a set up in her laundry room) He gets the works, plus she always puts a little bandana on him! He's usually done in an hour or so and then I go right back and get him. |
The works My charges $36 for the works. Atlanta suburb. |
Same here Rhonda it cost me 20 and you get the whole works, the lady does a very good job! I was really pleased with her! |
I think our groomer charges $25 or $27 (in Brenham, TX) and she does a beautiful job! She has always been owned by Yorkies herself so she understands exactly what I want her to do with Tatum. After hearing some of the grooming horror stories here, I feel so grateful to have her! |
We use a mobile groomer because it is far less stressful and way more convenient than dragging them all around. I pay $45.00 per dog which also includes everything from head to toe. So, $45.00 X 3 + tip puts me back $150.00 every 6 to 8 weeks. |
