| It's true that my little Yorkie got a little bigger than I wanted -- BUT - I had in my mind that an 8 pound was much bigger than my pup turned out to be. He is still very small. And, one thing I was especially concerned about in my area was hawks - and I don't think I need to worry as much with him being 8 pounds. I was really almost afraid to take him outside. And, on a day-to-day basis, I don't need to worry about him get on and off furniture, playing with children, etc. The main thing is that with my bad back - I can still easily carry him around in one arm and easily bathe him. This was one of the main reasons I wanted a small dog. So - as I have said often - I am really happy with his size. It's perfect for me. Carol Jean |
