| Me too! I've been here for 2 years and this is the oldest resurrection I've seen. And I keep bumping it up.

| Fact or Poo about Yorkie ears... Okay I have the love of my life... Proverbial "teacup" Yorkie. His name is/was Nikko but is called Little Rabbit. When I got him his right ear was "broken" so I taped and massaged it (been there before) and after a week it was perky again. Well he hit 3 1/2 months and both dropped. While we were out doing social training I was asked how much bigger he would get. Before I could say "not much if any" a breeder/trainer standing near by said he was full grown, ?guessed? his age and told us that when a Yorkie hits their full growth their ears droop. He said they will stand up again in the next few weeks as they grow. Another lady was listening and said same thing happened with hers. My vet said it is hard to know how big they will get because toys just grow different than big breeds. Anyone have an opinion? |
