| My girl Lexie is a bigger girl. Getting closer to 12 lbs by the last vet visit and still not overweight. Her ears flopped when I got her and I trained them to stand. Now they only flop when she is in her heat. Not sure why...but they do every time. lol. It is interresting. lol.

| my dougal's a whopper (16.5 lbs)...and not breed for type. His ears are up but they are set lower on his head so go more outward from the side than straight up - but he hardly ever lays them backwards on his head. They also flap (not flop) when he runs really fast. But they are really big ears - so some movement's to be expected! One interesting thing is that he has a lot more hair grow on his ears than my little girl. But I loves my fur babies ears up or down.

| My Jeter is now over 8 pounds and his ears are floppy by choice. I asked the breeder not to shave his ears in hopes they would stay down. I just love his adorable face. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't love him any less had his ears stood up. I just love 'em all. |

| Tiger is 5 pounds with both ears up . . . I think that it has really nothing to do with size . . perhaps it is genetic? Who knows . . . that's just my opinion. |

| My teapot (I love that term!) is 13 pounds. He's overweight due to depression, but we're working on that. Anyway, even back in his small days (7-8lbs) he's ears flopped. They've flopped since he was a baby. ??? Who knows the link. |

| Well Lexie's ears were flopping when I got her but it was appearing to ccut off circulation and brusing her ears when they flopped. This all stopped when we got them to stand. If it had not been for that I never would have worried about making them stan! Flopping or standing...both equal the perfect baby! :-) ~Tru
