| Dental spray?? Has anyone ever heard of or used LEBA III Dental Spray? I came across this on a website and don't understand how/if it would really work. It's supposed to be an all natural dental cleaner for dogs and cats, but you don't have to brush??? Anyone heard of this?

| I have never used this product, but it sounds like the results are the same as Life for Teeth. The site that I pulled up showed a cost of $60.00, so Life for Teeth is cheaper - you can choose between the spray or the gel. Right now it is peppermint flavored, but they're coming out with a liver flavor. I also like the sound of the ingredients better - the active ingredient is grapefruit seed extract which is a natural antibacterial. http://www.petzlife.com/ I actually just ordered the Life for Teeth (free shipping) and have had it sitting on my counter for over a week now, but have yet to use it. I have a Yorkie rescue I want to get a before picture on since she has tartar so I can post the results in the future. I bought the gel and the spray just to see which was easier. |

| I use the Life for Teeth and am very happy with it. Maddie hasn't had tartar or plaque yet, and maybe that's why she's not getting it. I use the spray about once a day and the brush away gel a couple times a week.

| So are you just supposed to spray it in their mouths? Or directly on their teeth? No brushing?

| It says 'brush for faster results', but brushing is not necessary for results. You just spray it on each side of their mouth or you can also spray a toy or just give a dab of gel. You withhold water 30 min. before and 30 min. after. |

| The Life for Teeth...all you have to do is spray it in their mouth. If they have noticeable tartar or plaque, you can aim it towards that area. Once you spray it in their mouth, they start to lick and that, I guess, distributes it to all the teeth. You can also brush with the Brush Away Gel. I only do that a couple times a week...sometimes only once a week. Did you look at their site? There are a lot of before and after pictures. My sister started using the spray a couple weeks ago on her dog that had plaque and tartar and the improvement already is unbelievable!

I use the Life for Teeth spray daily for Sissy. You just open the mouth and spray it in. She is not a big fan, but if it keeps her young teeth clean and we can avoid anesthesia at the vet - very worth the $20. I also brush once a week with the gel.
