Bed making not easy.. Curious Im curious does anyone else have this problem? when you either make your bed or it's time to put clean linens on your bed does your babies jump up under the sheets roll around, scratch and run up and down the bed, when you are trying to make your bed? do all yorkies do this or Am I the only one? Sami does this every day I make my bed and it's really bad when Im changing the linen, I try taking off pillow cases and he attacks the pillow! could this be a territorial issue? it's where he sleeps

I think it's just a Yorkie's way of having fun and it does make making the bed a little more fun for me! I have three so we have lots of fun in our house, never a dull moment!

Yup, been there. They also like to do it to a stack of freshly folded laundry.

Oh Goodness, I just had to fight with Simon about me trying to change the sheets. I put the fitted one on with him under it in the middle Then he pulled off all the corners and was pulling on the sheets. It's always an adventure

With one of my other dogs, I never even tried to make the bed until she got up. It wasn't like your dog - mine wanted to be left alone so she could sleep in. And - she acted like she would kill to stay there. She would growl and show her teeth and do everything she could to be threatening. What is interesting is that this dog didn't have a mean bone in her body. I never heard her growl at any other time in her life. And, she never never bit anyone. She was gentle and playful and actually very submissive. BUT - when she was in bed - it was best to leave her alone. For some reason, she totally loved sleeping in the bed. Of course, I could tell her to just knock it off and pick her up and move her....and she never bit me or anyone else. ---- My little Yorkie is more like yours. He thinks the bed is a play gym. And, yes, it is hard to make the bed with him around. Carol Jean

| Changing sheets It's funny I should see this post tonight. I changed my daughters and my bed sheets today and Starsky had to be right in the middle. He loves me to through the sheets up high and they land on top of him and he has to find his way out!!! Then when I tuck the sheets in on the ends, he attackes my hands. It's fun, but it sure makes changing the sheets a long, difficult project.
