| No Skildie..you're right..no one's dog is better than anyone else's no matter where they came from, but I don't think this was the intention of the post. I can understand how you would feel that way though after reading the posts. People are just really passionate about puppy mills and want to get the message out how horrible they are. I bet your baby is percious and from the sounds of his momma is much loved!! |

| Great thread I understand what you are saying. Trying to make everyone aware and that is great, but sometimes not all pet stores are bad. For example, I know a great pet store that I have purchased about 7 dogs from. Not all for me but for family as well. They have been healthy and all have made wonderful loving pets. It is a nice facility and all the dogs there are well taken care of. So as I know there are places that aren't good but there are some that are.

| The message is about awareness, not about criticizing anyone. Maybe after reading that post, it will change one person's mind who is now looking for a yorkie puppy. Or perhaps if you decide to get another yorkie, you might decide to use a breeder. Surely being aware of the risks is better than not knowing.

I only get upset when people post saying they got a puppy from this place and then it died when it was 7. that makes me think this could happen to smudger because of where I got him from. Do you know what I mean?? I don't mean to offend anyone with this post Also I hope Alona doesn't mind me posting how much she paid for Tino

Also the actual lady selling the dogs never came out, she had young girls showing the pups and they told us all, we could pick up the puppies and hold them but we were not to put them down on the ground for any reason. Is this strange to anyone else? And does it sound like a puppy mill? My sister went with me, she said she had bought several more dogs than I had and she had never seen such. eh, I still think it was something wrong there. Exactly what, i'm not sure.
