I will add... to the OP... you will not know what the puppy will look like as an adult because most people who cross breed these don't have good a representation of the Yorkie or Maltese breeds to begin with. So there is no telling what the adult will look like. It could be cute, but I have seen some adult Morkies that looked odd and I believe it was because the parent dogs weren't bred right to begin with.

(not yelling just hope everyone notices) Someone bumped it up. The OP I'm sure is loooooong gone and made their decision three-four years ago.

				 | Hi future Morkie owner, I saw mine from when they were little too. I think the dark black one if he has any other colors such as white and tan might look like my Boomer full grown. The dark golden one may end up like my Muffin. She was a dark golden with black on her too...now she's mostly white!! She could end up more carmel-y color....also super cute. The lighter the colored one may end up more white like a Maltese. Your choices sound cute...such a hard decision. Hope this helps. Oh...one more thing... In my furbabies litter there were black and white ones too...they probably grew into cuties as well.

				 | oh my gosh I am sorry I cried when I read a post . but let me say . I have a morkie and you can see her pic.. I love her and she is soooo sweet and she loves to be held and she is so smart she picks up on tricks like you would not believe. my husband did not want another dog because he was still heartbroken over loosing our other dog but he told me last night that I did good. he really likes her personality . she is such a people person.. |

				 | Just a question... How is it that you can get such a vast assortment of colors in these pups if one is a Maltese (which are always white and only white) and the other is a Yorkie who are black/blue and tan/gold???

				 | As someone who over the years developed allergies to dogs, previously having a cocker spaniel, I can assure you I'm not the slightest bit allergic to my two Yorkies. It's so funny what you were also saying about mixing with a poodle, because I just had a discussion last week with a former poodle owner who was telling me all the ones she ever had were very aggressive with other dogs. I was dog sitting a poodle cross over Christmas and had to have someone come and pick them up as their toy aggression was brutal. They had a lovely temperament with me, but nearly ripped the faces off my dogs. I'm glad you decided to stick with Yorkies |
