| My maltese and my yorkie had a fling. Out that fling, she had two adorable pups. This pup had a solid black head when he was born. He was mostly black everywhere else as well. He is now 4 weeks old. His coloring started coming out when he was about 2 weeks old. I think that it will be hard to tell exactly what color you will be getting. However, anytime you get a pup they are likely to change colors to some degree. My Yorkie was just about solid black with a little tan spots when I got him. Now at a year old his body is mostly grey. Good luck with your decision, I am sure you will love what ever you get. |

| Hi, I am from Medicine Hat, I was just wondering where you are getting your Morkie/yorktese? You said they were far away, I know someone in Saskatchewan who breeds them, on her website they are absolutely adorable. A couple of people I know have them as well, one is 4 months and the other is a little over a year and they are both adorable, (not from the Saskatchewan breeder). I find their faces are shaped more like the maltese and their bodies were alot bigger but like they say all of them are different, I have a yorkipoo and she looks nothing like a poodle, not that I can see anyway. I will see if I can get some pictures of the morkie's for you and post them for you. |

| I have a yorktese. He has changed coloring a lot since I got him. When I first got him he was an apricot color with black on his back, tail, and face. Then he went to blonde, now he is getting a goldren tan color. He looks alot like a yorkie to me in his face.

| Cooper is also a Yorkie/Matese mix. He looks more yorkie. I would go with the one your heart is leaning toward. I took one look at Cooper and have belonged to him ever since. My husband and I tell each other at least once a day, "Isn't he the cutest thing ever?"

| I looked at a ton of Yorkie/Maltese pictures - and WOW - none of them looked alike. I agree - some are very cute -and some scruffy, thin-haired and not so cute at all -at least to my eye. But - again, many were very cute! Carol Jean |

You will find a lot of really great advice here but this post is from 3 years ago. I would suggest that you post your question in the training forum and start a new thread. To do this you need to go to herehttp://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/index.php and look down the list to TRAINING. Click on that forum and a new page will open. On the upper left side of the page there is a box that says NEW THREAD. Click that and post your question.

| My MIL had a male maltese and yorkie mix. He looked just like a yorkie when he was a baby, now he is all silver and white. He has more of a yorkie structure but has really taken the color of maltese. I dont have any baby pics- but I do have his adult pics- he is 5 now. Didnt realize this was so old.

| Hi, I just joined Yorkie Talk and I'm still learning how it all works. I read from an old post o yours that you were thinking of getting a morkie, but wondered how they look as adults. Did you end up getting one? If so, you are enjoying your Morkie? I have two..a boy and a girl. They look completly different from each other. One is creamy and the other is tri color...black, white and tan. They're only 7 months old, but I can tell you that they just get more beautiful every month I have them. I think a lot of the cuteness has to do with how you keep the style of their fur. I plan on taking a picture of the style I want when I get them cut for the first time. I've read stories about how people took their morkies in and they were totally shaved. Anyway, just looking for others with morkies on here. |

| Morkie puppies are usually either black and tan or cream, or various shades of dark to light brown. We have recently had a second generation Morkie with Black and White coloring. The black and tan or cream puppies will retain their color. Nicole is three years old and is still a beautiful black and tan. The browns have a tendency to mature to a light tan or golden color with cream and black accents. Check out our website and pelase call if you want more information. I am happy to send you more pictures of the adults as well. |

| Yorkie Talker | There is no saying what color they will be when they are older. I have a 4 month old Morkie boy and my boyfriend's mom has his sister. Tanner is black and tan and Mia is a solid honey color. Mia is has really thin hair and tanner has pretty thick hair. But if you look at the parents it will give you a good idea what they will look like when they are older. |
