| Buddy never lift his leg. I am contributing that to him being a puppy but now that he is getting older....... What is a belly band? He doesnt go on the furniture (yet that is). He is pad trained if that means anything. Does that change also! all over the house?

| My Charley started to lift his leg at 6 months old and he always does it now.Not being rude but if you didn't want a dog to lift its leg why didn't you get a girl? Having him neutered will not stop him lifting his leg,he is just doing what is natural to male dogs. Sharon,Charley & Melody xxx |

| Buddy was a Christmas gift to me and wouldn't trade him for the world. I was just wondering how that works with a male that is whee whee pad trained in the house.

| My boys will lift their legs while peeing on the wee wee pads, and it isn't a problem. They seem to know enough to 'aim' lower when they're on the pads...lol They are both neutered and are trained to go on pads or outside. Depending on their mood ( ) they will squat sometimes as well. As long as they know where they are allowed to go, it shouldn't be a problem.

| My Bear started to lift his leg as well at around 6 months. He is pee pad trained and still goes on the pad but has also started to lift his leg around the house so we have him wear a belly band. |

| My Ceeby is eight months old and started lifting his leg about seven months. it is driving me crazy and my hubby doesn't want me to use belly bands because "it will worry the little guy". I am planning on getting a new leather couch and loveseat in a few months and thwen it won't be so bad. He is going on any corner he can find and even on the corner of my woodwork. THAT, I do not like. I have heard that the urine ruins your wall behind the baseboard. But, on the other hand, he pees a lot outside too. He lifts his leg so much outside that he runs out of pee and still goes thru the motions a hundred times. |

| Some people have talked about using a 2 liter bottle on the pad to give boys something to lift their leg on and still hit the pad. do a search of previous posts. Good luck.
