| Facial fur My new boy Titan has much longer fur than Brandy. I'm not sure but I don't think he has really ever had a haircut. He's about 11 months old. My girl, Brandy is older, 21 months, and was trimmed very short last October (I think). I have decided to grow her out because I really love Titan's longer hair, especially the ponytail and facial hair. We're making progress and I can finally get most of Brandy's hair up in a little ponytail. I am noticing that the fur on her muzzle is short. Titan has long fur framing his muzzle and on his chin giving him a cute little round frame around his muzzle. On Brandy the fur on her muzzle is short and just sticks out to the side a bit. She has some longer chin hair but not as much as Titan. The thing is, I have never cut that muzzle hair on Brandy. I have cut the hairs in close to her eyes that are now sticking up in front of her eyes but never the stuff near her nose. I am attaching a picture of each of them for comparison (Titan is obviously the one with the longer ponytail). The picture of Brandy is not really head on so it may be hard to see what I am talking about but from the front her muzzle has hairs that stick out to the side but are not really long enough to hang down like Titan's. I am wondering if Brandy will ever grow long hair on her muzzle or if she just is destined to have short muzzle fur. The longer hair framing her face is more from her cheeks and neck. I hope this makes sense and I hope I actually manage to attach these pictures.

| They are so cute! I like the look of the longer hair too. My little one is never really been clipped. Just her ears, tummy and under her tail. Except last summer I clipped her feet like a poodle. I left the leg hair alone so you couldn't even tail her paws had been shaved. It helped keep her from tracking everything in from outside! |

| I know exactly what you are talking about. Yorkies all have different coats and Brandy might just grow out really slow too. But her muzzle hair might be breaking off before it gets that long. My MaeMae has the beautiful silky coat and she is soooooo good with it.... I've gone throught different cuts with all of them and I am trying to grow out all their coats and keep it long! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! |

Time to clean the screen again!!!!! Great pictures!!!! Some coats grow really fast, and some are slow. Princess has a fast growing coat. I have her groomed once a month. Oh yea, new month, I better make that call

| Awww they're both gorgeous. We're also growing out Sully's hair and having the same problem with the hair around his mouth/nose. He scratches at it and it breaks off
