| good luck i'm on the east coast so truthfully i have no idea lol but i have had experience (negetive ones) with pet shops and can tell you no matter how healthly looking and sweet the pup is it doesnt mean it hasnt already seen trauma or sickness in its short lil life... my pet store plastered everywhere they didnt use puppymills and that they had thier own breeder... after i got her home is when i got the paperwork that said she came from kansas and i started doing my homework... she went from a puppymill breeder in kansas to a broker in kansas then transported across the county to RI just to end up in a Pet Store where i got her... she was healthy appearing for about 2wks she has been sick ever since its been about 6wks of illness if you decide to get the puppy congratulations in advance on ur furbaby but i wanted to share this info with you... i wish someone had told me before i went looking for a puppy all that being said we LOVE snickers and wouldnt trade her but next time i will go about it in a different way... through a breeder i can research good luck |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I mean this in the nicest way... When you BUY from a pet store - you support Puppy Mills and chances are - that's where ALL those puppies came from. IF everyone walked away from those hard to resist puppies...maybe the mills would stop mass breeding....but you have to make a decision based on your heart.....but please remember - every puppy sold in a Pet Store will have to be replaced by a new puppy from a Mill... do you really want to take that chance with a new yorkie ? |
