I have a brother and sister and now they are about 7 months. I don't want any surprises. I don't really like the vet here either. I don't know what to do.

I had two that were close in age like that and I had them spayed and neutered at the same time.

I don't know about anyone else but if you have a male and a female in the same house while she is in heat is pure hell. Buckeye has an appointment next week . Ahia has already been spayed. and the pups will be done as soon as I get buckeye over with. I figure it will be best to get the pups done at the same time. Less fighting to keep one off the other when they want to play. they are 5 months old.

from what i understand the 1st heat is somewhere between 6m - 9m for a yorkie and its better to get them spayed beforehand it lowers the risk for cancer... but my vet said she likes to wait until they are at least 5lbs...

Fix now. I don't think it's a good idea for sibling mistakes.
