| My pup just follows me around and watches when I vacuum. It doesn't seem to frighten him at all. Carol Jean |

| Maddie is scared to death of the vaccuum...has been since she was a pup! She will go running and hide under a bed and when I go into the room she's in, she bolts for the door to get out of there. I feel bad she's so scared...I've even tried holding her while I vaccuum, thinking that she will get used to it, but that didn't work either. Now I just don't vaccuum as much as I used to. LOL

| I have yet to know of any small breed dog that likes the noisy vacuum cleaner. |

| Princess isn't too happy with it, but Poncho loves to ride on it.

| Max and Abbie don't like the vacuum but they don't bark at it. They are curious, yet afraid at the same time. It's so funny to watch them because they creep slowly toward it but when they get too close they jump back about 3 feet. It's the same behavior whether the vacuum is on or off. It looks as if they are creeping to get a toy and then all of a sudden they step on something sharp and go flying. Typically they are little yappers and bark at everything but they don't bark at the vacuum.

| Scrappy completely hates the Vaccuum. We keep it in our bedroom closet and as soon as the door gets opened, he is inside ferociously barking and chewing at the front wheels.... then when it gets turned on, even worse. He must think he is as big as a great dane. Recently I cleaned out carpet w/a carpet cleaner...just as bad as the vacuum. Now he has learned to attach and pounce on the broom while I sweep! It's too funny. But i'm not sure where the dislike has come from. |

| When I vacume both of my boys just stare at it. Remmy used to bark at it when he was a pup but I guess he is used to it by now. Chance just stares at it. He seems more curious than scared. |

| Punkin thinks it'a toy to play with - she chases it like crazy. When we use just the end to do around the edges etc she gets so close her little whiskers get sucked in a bit. She loves it and grins the whole time It makes it hard to vaccuum though... She is not scared of appliances oo tools - we are renovating and strange noises are very common.

| Jasmine doesn't like the vacuum but doesn't freak out much when I turn it on. Duffy goes nuts and runs ahead of it and tries to bite it and snarls. My granddaughter's yorkie, Murphy hated the vaccuum and one day when he came in the room and the vacuum was out he lifted his leg and peed right on it. He knew what he was doing too because he was housebroken and never peed in the house. |

| The best thing you can do with the vacuum is take it slow with them. We usually put our vacuums away when we are done. After im done vacuuming, I just leave mine out in different places so they can go up, sniff and get used to them. Its alot easier that way and becomes part of the scenery. Then, turn it on and off all day, but not to spook them when they are right besides it. Then just let it run without moving it for a minute. It takes time, but in the long run, theyll just get out of the way instead of head for the hills!!

| I've got a vacuum riding cowboy too. He jumped on at 9 weeks and has ridden ever since! The girls don't seem bothered with it at all either. They totally ignore it. |

| Ella has a totally different bark for the vacuum cleaner. It is very high pitched and she tries to attack the end. |
