I'll put this date on the calendar too. Thanks to Missy for leading me to this thread!

My hubby was recently diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. We're traveling to San Diego tomorrow to meet with a specialist at Scripp's Cancer Center and get advice about treatment.

We're also new parents of "Teddi," so things are hectic at our house.

We are empty nesters so no kids at home. It'll just be us (or me) and the puppy.

Do any of your have "baby carriers" for your pup? You know what I mean, like the "snugglie" we used to carry our babies close to us when we didn't want to push a stroller! I'm sure I can buy one somewhere. Teddi doesn't walk on a lease yet and I'm not sure I'll have time to train him with everything that's going on in my life right now. Housebreaking is at the TOP of my list! LOL

Anyway, how do I sign up for the Indy meet and greet? :animal36

Anyone wanting to sign up for meet-up should let Denise know by April 15th. Contact her at Denise517@comcast.net Hope everyone can make it and hope more will sign up to come. This will be so much fun!!!

I havent had any new people sign up yet. I've had a few more interested but not a for sure "yes" yet. I've posted flyers at vets office and taking one to my groomer. Hopefully we will hear more!!!!

I have tried Denise! he is a man, you no how that goes!!! :rofl28ib: But, something wonderful has happened and a new member has joined and she is in Indiana and lives only a HOUR away from me!!!! wooohoooo! So she wants to go, but she will let us no after April 12th I think she said!

ok, I'm starting to get a little worried. I've not had any new responses. I see N.C. meetup and they are doing great!!! I wish ours had such good response. I would like everyone who is coming to send me an email 1 page long. Tell about yourself, where you live and about your yorkie (s) try to insert pictures on the 1 page about yourself and your babies. I'm going to make a book to pass around at the meetup and people can look through it and get to know everyone. We will keep adding to it each year. Just thought that might be neat. I love how NC are getting all the donations. We should try to do that, but I feel bad asking people for donations for some reason. Does anyone need a map to Eagle Creek Park? I hope it all turns out ok, we need more people..... Please send email page to Denise517@comcast.net Thanks

Indiana Yorkie Meet Up
 
Come on everyone!!!! Please contact Denise asap and tell her you have moved all other plans out of the way to make it to the Meet Up on the 6th. We may not have all the plans of the NC Meet Up, but this is our first and it will be fun. We'll learn as we go...together.
