| To keep it simple, why not everyone bring their own utensils, plates, chairs, xpens etc. If all of us pretty much take care of our own needs, it will be less work for someone else. I plan on bringing a side dish, salad and desert. What about bringing our own meat too? Like something simple hamburgers/pork burgers and hotdogs.

| I was thinking everyone bring one side dish, one dessert, and own drinks. I will buy hamburger, hotdogs, and buns. Maybe have a few of the hubbys at the grilles and have a table to put all food on. Then maybe each family could donate $3-5 for meat at the cookout if possible. I think it would be easier for one person to get the meat. As far as plates, etc. I guess we could bring our own. Maybe a few people could pick on some just in case??? Whatever everyones wants. Lets just try to make it as easy as possible. Then we will pass around a notebook there for all to sign, address, phone, etc for next year. Once we do it this year, we will know a little more what to expect. She told me each shelter should be able to seat 80 people. so there should be plenty of tables. So far I only have 5 people coming for sure. Hopefully we can get more. What ever the turn out is I'm sure we will have fun. I also have two children age 12 and 20 month and a hubby who will be attending ( oh, and of course Parker) We can get into the shelter at 9:30 and really stay as long as we want... | I wanna come. I just have to convince my hubby. I think it would be fun just to spend the day in a beautiful park and go hiking. I don't cook so maybe it would be best if I brought the drinks. I can get a couple of 2 liters and make some iced tea or Lemonade.

| BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | Denise, This seems to be coming along really well! I came home the otherday and told my hubby about it and to my surprise "we" had already made plans, guess I forgot what day the plans was for, but I'm going to try my best to make it, I may be driving alone with the kids unless I can find someone who is coming my way, maybe I can follow! I'm in Warsaw if anyone is going that way! |
