I was thinking everyone bring one side dish, one dessert, and own drinks. I will buy hamburger, hotdogs, and buns. Maybe have a few of the hubbys at the grilles and have a table to put all food on. Then maybe each family could donate $3-5 for meat at the cookout if possible. I think it would be easier for one person to get the meat. As far as plates, etc. I guess we could bring our own. Maybe a few people could pick on some just in case??? Whatever everyones wants. Lets just try to make it as easy as possible. Then we will pass around a notebook there for all to sign, address, phone, etc for next year. Once we do it this year, we will know a little more what to expect. She told me each shelter should be able to seat 80 people. so there should be plenty of tables. So far I only have 5 people coming for sure. Hopefully we can get more. What ever the turn out is I'm sure we will have fun. I also have two children age 12 and 20 month and a hubby who will be attending ( oh, and of course Parker) We can get into the shelter at 9:30 and really stay as long as we want...
