Fighting for attention I need some help and couldn't find this topic with the search feature. Here is my dilemma.....I have had Simon since he was 8 weeks old and he was my first baby. I rescued Hallie last July when she was 2. At first they had their arguments about toys and trying to establish roles and then things were fine until the past few days. Hallie will not let me hold, pick up, pet, or spend alone time with Simon. She barks constantly and pounces on him. Then last night Simon attacked Hallie and bit her by her nose, she has a scratch but it is ok now. Then today I gave them both a bath and after the bath they both go crazy, which is normal but they got too rough and I had to separate them. Simon has been right at my feet all day wanting love but Hallie is right there ready to jump on him if I even attempt to hold him. I feel like if this goes on much longer one of them will feel neglected or one of them will get hurt. Any ideas????? Thanks, Kim & Simon & Hallie

Please help!!! Ok, so Hallie now has 3 stitches and her nose is wrapped. What could possibly be wrong? They seemed to just be play wrestling and suddenly she was screaming and bleeding bad so I had to take her to the emergency clinic. What can I do????

OUch Wow, Good luck with that one. We just got a new puppy and the older boy is jeaolous I think. Perhaps a "time-out" is needed.

Hi Chris! Oh I don't want you to think it is bad having 2 yorkies, it isn't at all. Simon is just being rough today and acting funny. I'm thinking that something may be wrong, maybe he isn't feeling well. He has been in a time out today in his "condo" (that's what I call their exercise pen) They have been fine the rest of the day and Simon has been licking Hallie's face. I'm going to take him to the vet this week and see what they say. Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think everyone just thought I was crazy

| I'm really not quite sure what advice to offer. I guess just trying to keep them separate unless you are watching them like a hawk is probably the best thing to do for now. Poor Hallie, she had to get stitches!! So sad. Keep us posted.
