 Fighting for attention
I need some help and couldn't find this topic with the search feature. Here is my dilemma.....I have had Simon since he was 8 weeks old and he was my first baby. I rescued Hallie last July when she was 2. At first they had their arguments about toys and trying to establish roles and then things were fine until the past few days. Hallie will not let me hold, pick up, pet, or spend alone time with Simon. She barks constantly and pounces on him. Then last night Simon attacked Hallie and bit her by her nose, she has a scratch but it is ok now. Then today I gave them both a bath and after the bath they both go crazy, which is normal but they got too rough and I had to separate them. Simon has been right at my feet all day wanting love but Hallie is right there ready to jump on him if I even attempt to hold him. I feel like if this goes on much longer one of them will feel neglected or one of them will get hurt. Any ideas????? Thanks, Kim & Simon & Hallie |
