| ![]() to bunjee... "NO" means "wait a minute then continue". "DROP IT" means "just take it with you." "LEAVE IT" means "look longingly at it." Last edited by hunniebunnie; 03-22-2006 at 03:24 PM. |

LOL! LOL! LOL! I just consulted the the Senior Dog in our house and he confirmed, after looking disgustedly at the baby Yorkie, that you have hit the nail right squarely on the head!!! ![]() ![]()

YES!!! I had when she cries to get up on bed and then steps backwards when I try to reach her and then cries some more! Especially when it's in the middle of the night and she has gotten down to pee!!! 3 am, I really don't want to get up, chase her around the room, cuz you know, mommy up in the dark means she's gonna chase me for fun, catch her and then get her back in bed and me back asleep! I guess all yorkies really are alike...

| ![]() yES YOU ARE ALL CORRECT!!! STAY --- means run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. COME --- means look really cute as you just sit there nicely. DROP IT-- means do anything BUT drop it. EAT YOUR DINNER --- means go grab a bite and run to the living room to eat it. When I am in the backyard with Penny and I see her pick up something she clearly shouldnt have, and I say Penny Come. She looks at me like "hello are you talking to me?? And runs around the yard so fast there is no way I can catch her. Yorkies are smarter than we want to believe!! And YES we do not own our yorkies, they own us. And prove it on a daily basis. |

Our "Mozart" (see attached) looks at Abbie like she's some sort of gnat. But, we know he'd never truly hurt her. If he were going to snap at her, he would have by now. We let them work out their squabbles, for the most part - until we feel "Mo" has truly had enough, then we'll separate them. He must discipline her, or she'll be a little monster. It irks me when he has a toy, and she walks right up and takes it out of his mouth! Well, actually - we're not sure if she takes it, or if he kind of throws it to her. You know....like a sacrificial offering. <grin>
