| Breaking hair?? Anyone of you familiar with breaking hair? My Chelsey used to have a gorgeous full coat, which looks like its breaking, i used to think it was due to the rubber bands i used on her, so i stopped using them, but its breaking all over her body now Is she short of vitamins ? I am taking her to the vet this week for her shots and will ask her. I have them on Nutro Choice "Lamb & rice" i use the CC grooming system and the Dog's & Stuff shampoo, conditioner & detangler. Any help is welcome as always Mandy

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Hmmm...could be diet, could be the weather changing. I know that there are oils out there that you cover the coats in in the final rinse of a bath. Hopefully, someone can help you better with this.

| Thanks girls, it just seems so strange because i use good grooming products on the girls and i never brush them dry... i will also continue giving them fish oil. What puzzled me is that Chanel's hair is not breaking and both on the same diet and play alike ... its just strange

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Your girls do have pretty coats....I use an anti Breakage Product called Sea Breeze. It's wonderful.....here is the site if you want to check into it : http://www.plushpuppy.com.au/ They're based in Australia. It's reasonably prices...I think I got mine for less than 15 when I bought it last year - and I still have 1/2 a bottle. I only use a tiny tiny bit on my girls and it conditions the coat...is WATER BASED so it doesn't damage the coat...washes out easily.... and their hair shines. I rub it on my hands then on Cheri....with Chanel I spray directly on her...she has that 'big hair' and it lays it nice and flat.

| On Villette's suggestion, I got Seabreeze oil for Lexy. It is working beautifully. I spray it onto my hands and then rub it into her hair. That way I don't get too much on her. The first time I used it, she looked like she should've been in a Brylcream commercial! BTW, if you are too young to remember Brylcream commercials, please be kind enough to keep that info to yourself! |

| Also, check the combs you are using. Alot of the metal ones can cause breakage. |
