If the dog is not in wrappers, they can get some breakage. It really depends how much rough housing they do or how much rubbing they do on their beds. Expect some breakage as it really is unavoidable to us that let our dogs live a dog life.
Try using one of the leave in conditioners if you aren't now, that can offer a little protection. Good luck.
