| A hard decision I have had to make a very hard decision today. I have decided not to keep Bella. I am just not bonding as I should, and I feel it is because I moved to quickly. I think she is so sweet, but right now a puppy isn't a good idea. Hopefully within the next few months, I will be ready. It is just to soon.

| I am so sorry to hear that you are having a hard time. I wish things were different. It is so hard to lose someone and then to part with another.

| Well, I found out last week that she wasn't the same dog my aunt sold her . So thankfully she is no relation!! I looked at the mother's pedigree and sure enough she isn't. I just can't, It just isn't there like it was with both She-Ra and Harley. Plus, I have a 17 mth old and she doesn't understand puppies break, so it is a number of things piled onto one pile. When I see Bella I cry, b/c I know She-Ra is gone, and it hurts too much to do that every time.

| you have to make whatever decision it is that YOU feel is right. I can only imagine the heartache you feel for your She-ra- its soooo hard to cope with the loss of a pet that is sooo much more than "just a pet," ya know? Dont feel bad for making whatever choice you've decided, only you can know when and if you are ready for another baby. i really wish you all the best and all the strength it takes to make this kind of decision<3<3 have you thought of maybe letting another family member adopt bella to maybe give you some more time to think it over and let yourself grieve for your loss?? it may help, just a suggestion. best of luck!!<3

| i definitely understand how you feel. I struggled with the same thing about two months ago. Only a little less than 3 months after my precious baby Macey died, I got Lilah. She was not at all the same, and I too didn't feel a bond with her. I was really depressed for the first few weeks, because she just didn't seem to be the right dog for me. She was very shy and wouldn't play with anything. I woke up everyday even more depressed than the day before, and still missing Macey. But after a few short weeks, I bonded with Delilah like I never imagined I could. She has been with me for a couple of months and I can't imagine life without her. I was VERY close to finding her a new home (I even had a few lined up) BUT I decided to give her a shot. It wasn't her fault that I wasn't happy. I truly think that if you stuck it out, you would realize that she is a little blessing. Circumstances are much different than they were with your other Yorkies. She certainly can't replace She-Ra, but I think she could help you heal. I support any decision that you make, because I truly understand. I am just trying to share my experience with you, hoping that you can do what is truly right for you. I'd love to talk to you about it if you would like. Good luck in your decision, and I wish for the best for both of you.

| My heart aches for you. You have to do what you have to do. Sounds like you have put a lot of your heart into making this decision. Time will help dull the pain and She-Ra will FOREVER and ALWAYS reside in your heart. Hugs |

| The first dog that passed away (a little Pomeranian named Sassy) I was very depressed. When I went to look at new puppies I would end by getting hysterical and have to leave even after a year. One kind breeder made the suggestion I go to another breed - her suggestion Yorkie. Well, I went to look at some Yorkie puppies and didn't cry and ended up buying a little girl who was with me for over 12 years. Upon her death, I bought a new little boy Yorkie within a month - no he didn't replace her, but he sure helped heal my broken heart. I think you are a very smart person to realize you are not for whatever reason bonding with this puppy and can find another home for her while she is still young. Sorry for your loss. |

If your decision is to part w/ Bella, it is not because you are a bad person. Not at all, you just weren't ready for what you thought you were I am so sorry....trust me.
