The first dog that passed away (a little Pomeranian named Sassy) I was very depressed. When I went to look at new puppies I would end by getting hysterical and have to leave even after a year. One kind breeder made the suggestion I go to another breed - her suggestion Yorkie. Well, I went to look at some Yorkie puppies and didn't cry and ended up buying a little girl who was with me for over 12 years. Upon her death, I bought a new little boy Yorkie within a month - no he didn't replace her, but he sure helped heal my broken heart.
I think you are a very smart person to realize you are not for whatever reason bonding with this puppy and can find another home for her while she is still young. Sorry for your loss. |
