Pictures of a larger size yorkie?? Anyone?? Hey everyone, just thought it would be a good idea to post some pictures of the bigger size yorkies, "teapots" as many of you call them :p just to give people an idea of how they appear. So many think 10lbs is like, a massive yorkie, but in actuality, its still rather small, i think. So if you would be so nice as to post pics of your Teapot [7lbs+], i would appreciate it!! |
1 Attachment(s) I have one for you....Cheri is about 6 lbs....Chanel My Teapot Yorkie...is 10 ...but very compact... when Chanel is wet she's much smaller looking...she kind of has BIG hair :D |

My goodness! I bet he was fun to brush out! |
Not all YT's are little divas...........some actually get just a little dirty............His bath water had to be changed 3 times to get all the mud off. He found a small hole in the back yard and proceeded to make it really big. I don't know what was in there, but he sure gave it his best to get it. He would probably still be there digging if we hadn't pulled him out. Thank goodness, he's only got like this once. He sure was a mess! Now he has a puppy cut! |

As some of you know, I breed Yorkies and Biewers and both. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see these posts about our plus-sized Yorkies and how happy they make their owners. When I have an inquiry about a "teacup" (geez, that makes me mad!") I would lve to say "just go to YT and read the post about the bestest babies you ever saw!" and they are well over "tea" anything-cup, pot, kettle, party...... |
All your babies are gorgeous! I truly believe that size does not matter as long as you have a healthy and well adjusted pup. Who cares how much they weigh? Are you going to love them any less? Of course not. I get so many pople asking about Bridgets size, is she a tea cup? Grrr…. No, she’s a dog. Period. |
Plus-Sized Yorkies ROCK! Quote:

1 Attachment(s) Here is my bigger girl- Phebe. She is the smartest, most loveable, spunkiest gal i know!!!! |
Ya'll know what my little S. Finnegan looks like. 8lbs? 9lbs? I don't know; I never weigh him because I don't care. |
Thank You All And my little tike does to. He really loves me and I love him. I saw all these very little yorkie and I have a 5.5 and thought cant have a 10 pd ones. I guess I would really have liked him being smaller but you all have been verly kind to me thankyou so much.He is 10 weeks this SUNDAY AND WEIGHS 4.4 PDS AND EVERYONE SAID OH WOW he is going to be so big.I guess nobody can tell how big their pup will be when they buy them. |
i am so in love with all these yorkies, i just adore them....no matter what size. kisses and hugs to all :kiss2wm: :kiss2wm: :kiss2wm:   |
Opposite of Runt? Just wondering what would be a good term used for opposite of runt? Our tubby Tucker came out of a 4.5 lb mom and a 4 lb dad. He just kept growing, and growing, and growing to 11 pounds. Well, that's what he weighed a couple of years ago. He's probably bigger now. |
Linda i abso-freakin-lutely looooove that messy hair pic!! too adorable, i just had to say. V- i never realized the spy girls were teakettles, im kinda surprised. I bet the wieght comes from their gorgeous, thick hair!!! and i am dying laughing over whispersmom calling them plus-sized yorkies!! i think that is soo funny!! and im with you on more power to them!!! Mr. s. finnegan- you are the cutest monkey ever and i love you!! one day im gonna squeeze you and kiss you, mark my words!! i know you were hoping for a little guy, MaryKay, but honestly, i hope you rethink selling him only to get another puppy that may grow to be more than you expect also! its tough when you have your heart set on something and are expecting one thing and get another, but i PROMISE you you will love this guy no matter how big he gets!! And like i said, the bigger he gets, the bigger hugs you can give him!! that is reason in itself to get a bigger size yorkie, i think  10lbs may sound like a BIG yorkie, but it really really isnt big at all. i hope seeing some of these pictures helped you feel better and realize not everyones yorkie is a teeny weeny one. sometimes bigger is better ;) |
1 Attachment(s) Here's my 8.5 pounder. From a distance, he looks like a peanut. |
3 Attachment(s) Here are 3 of our yorkies, in all shapes and sizes. The first one is Sophie...she is 6 lbs...the second one is Hobbs...he is 3 lbs...and the last one is KoKo...she is 12 lbs!!!!!!!! KoKo is definately the smartest out of the three. They all have great personalities and we love them all the same!!!! |
These pictures are so funny and as a Mom of 2 girls that LOVE to get dirty ..I sure know those bad hair days !! I'm not even sure how much either of mine weigh...Cheri is as light as a feather while Chanel is more solid...but ALL yorkies are just too cute for words... Omgosh...RLC12345678 ...I saw your picture AFTER I posted - that is TOO CUTE For words...one in every size - you must be in HEAVEN ! |

KoKo is definately the alpha dog. We got her first, so she is the boss!!! KoKo only plays when she feels like it, and the other two know not to mess with KoKo unless she is in a "playing" mood. It is so funny. Sophie and Hobbs play all day and night though. |
