what a gorgeous bunch you all are!! |
My BIG boy 2 Attachment(s) Well...although Stomper has papers, I must say, I question if he is a full breed yorkie. He was "suppose to be" 7-8 pounds. After we took him to the vet at 8 weeks old and he was 3 pounds already...they estimated 10-12 pounds. Well... he just went to the vet and 1 1/2 years old and he is 17.6 pounds! |
stomper is just lovely ,as my mum would say he is just big boned! I think that yorkies where all once this type of size, and we have breed this out but that sometimes one just comes to the surface. I bet he has a great personality my mums peebles is so friendly and good natured she puts up with my fur kids pulling and running at her and is so docile with everyone. |
I love all the big dogs! Hmm, maybe a 7-pound Yorkie SHOULD be called a teacup, and there should be a classification for larger Yorkies! All in favor say Aye! |
They are all so pretty / handsome ..and its not the size that matters ..haha ..where have i heard that ? hummmmm ... |
Little-Bit & babies 1 Attachment(s) Here is Little-Bit my big girl with her babies! |
We all come in different sizes... My little guy, Preston, is sorta small but he's only 4.5 months old (he weighs 2 lbs.). However, I don't care how big he gets. We all come in different shapes and sizes too ;D |
2 Attachment(s) Here is my 10 pounder. We weren't expecting her to get over 5 pounds but once you fall in love all that doesn't matter any more. She is perfect in every way. I can't imagine calling a 7 pound yorkie a big one. My friend has one that ways about 7 pounds and I find myself on pins and needles when she is around. She is so small I am always worried she will get hurt. The little ones sure are cute but I think my big girl is just as cute.:aimeeyork Pic 1 is today at the park she was barking at someone walking by. LOL Pic 2 we where getting ready to take a walk. |
Let's keep this one going! So far the biggest is 20 pounds, Stomper is at 2nd place at 17.6 pounds. My big love! When my husband sees the little ones, he says I wish he was the small. He is so full of it, we love our BIG guy just the way he is. However...he does take more of the bed then he did at 5 months old. He is bigger that a cat now and thinks (or maybe he does) OWN the bed!!!! :p |
Dayzee at 8 months is 9.5#. I describe her as a sexy yorkie terrier. She is so blonde and a total flirt. I don't think she'd be as cute a puppy if she was littler. And blondes do have a lot of fun. |
Here's my big girls! Chewy is 17 lbs and Sierra is 11! Their parents are 6 and 7 lbs! They are littermates and purebreds. All of the other pups that the same parents had are small. Go figure! But we love them that much more! :p |

I just love this thread!! I am so happy to see this thread! I think the big yorkies are all gorgeous, and so beautiful to look at!! Keep on posting, and I will keep coming back to see the pics! Nice job getting this one started! :D |
2 Attachment(s) Here are both of my large babies. (I hope I uploaded the pics correctly) Max is 11 pounds. He looks small because he's compact and solid. Abbie is 14 pounds. Her hair has gotten lighter since I took that picture but all of my recent photos are on my cell phone. |
4 Attachment(s) I've got a whopper too! He's 6 months and around 8 lbs... maybe end up 9-10 lbs full grown. It seems like he just exploded since I got him. My giant yorkie!!! :D I might have wished for a smaller yorkie in the past but PK is the cutest little genius-brat and I'd have no other. PK has papers, but I also wondered if he was mixed... he had wire hair for a long time but it's starting to soften. And he's so spoiled there's no doubt he's pure yorkie! |
3 Attachment(s) Ok I tried to find some good ones to show his size, which is quite muscular, and solid, and not an ounce of fat. He was 11.7 pounds last time he was at the vet. |

1 Attachment(s) Here are my two! They are big but I love every inch of them and would not trade them for the world. Gaby is 8 lbs and Pebbles is 9 lbs. |
1 Attachment(s) Here is my big girl, Chizzie. I'm not exactly how much she weighs, but compared to Chattie 6 lbs. and Peppy 3.5 lbs. she is huge. I am thinking she is around the 8 - 8 1/2 lb. range. She has a little "padding" along her rib cage, but her neck is solid muscle. She "lives fast and plays hard" LOL. I must get a video of Chizzie and her ball. |

4 Attachment(s) Wow, this is a popular thread! I love my 12.4 lb teapot, here she is! I've included pics of her with the cat and her buddy jasper, another "toy" dog (shih tzu) for size comparison. |

Any one out there that has one without their tail docked? I've been so tempted to not have their tails cut. :animal-pa |
Fun Kitty (yes that's his name) is taller, but they weigh about the same. (and I promised him I was bringing in a tiny little dog...hee hee) :D And yes, my girl is big, has floppy ears, and is light in color...you wouldn't believe how many people insist she's not a yorkie... |
Simply the best 2 Attachment(s) [COLOR=Blue][FONT=Arial Black] :woof: I love my Rocky and Coco. They are truly simply the best. :woof: |
2 Attachment(s) Here are pictures of my "teapot" Willy is 7 years old & last weigh in at vet was 18 lbs. He is one big lovable sweetie. Desiree  :) |
i am siriusly loving all the pictures!!! i wish i could give all these babies the biggest hug ever!!!! all your babies are so beautiful! i love my teeny baby, but i do hope to one day get a teapot<3<3 keep the pics coming! |
Give me a teapot Yorkie anyday! I love the fact that you can be more "rough and tumble" with one of these guys. Any dog under 20# is still quite small, but with these guys, you get the best of both worlds! Yorkie personality and big dog durability. I have a friend who is specifically looking for a large Yorkie for just that reason. |
