He is adorable.:) I think he looks just like my Sophie. She is 12lbs and has a full coat. I have always wondered what she would look like with short hair. Well now I know and I really like it. Does anyone else think he looks as much like Sophie as I do?[/QUOTE] Sophie's Mom- Sophie is beautiful. Yes they do look alot alike. Just got his hair cut last week, I was trying to let it grow out but he did not like to be brushed all of the time. |

1 Attachment(s) But what about Bob? :) Around 20 lbs |
Cute! What's Bob been up to?:D |
I think hes getting just a tad bit better about us leaving..its still rough, but doable. Also I was going to get him a friend..that one named Scout, but they said that Scout would do best as an only dog..so it wouldnt work out. Other than that, Bob is still adorable and the highlight of my day!!! Im crazy about Bob!!! Thanks for asking!!! |
Maybe you can find another pal for him soon. I'll bet he'd love it.:) |

My Cozy is 6 months and 4 days old today. She is +9 pounds. The breeder can't figure it out. All of her yorkies are under 7 pounds. I would love her no matter what. She is still smaller than my two maine coon cats, Mika and Tallulah, 14 and 15 pounds, respectively. An way smaller than my +120 pound golden, Lucky. Lucky is very tall and pretty lean, though. :animal36 As the car commercial says "Bigger is better." All my animals are oversized and I love it. |
I cant' stop going through all of these pics of these darling yorkies!! I am loving this thread!! I was wondering, how in the world is everyone getting their yorkie's hair so perfect??!!! It is fasinating to see all the different hair styles or cuts.....too cute! How do all of you get the hair right above and on the side of the nose to lay flat??? My Lily's hair stays flat for about 30 min after her bath and blow dry.....then....poof!!!....it sticks staight out!! Now Sabastian is completely different....his hair lays down even between baths....even around his nose. Is there something I can do to help Lily's hair lay smoother and not look 'dirty' all the time? By the way, My Lily, almost 4 is 5 1/2 pounds and pregnant......Sabastian, almost 2 is 5 pounds.....which I can't imagine them any bigger! |
Mine's a chubby one too.... Alley weighed in at 14.9 pounds on Monday. |
What adorable dogs!!! Tinka is "just" 8 lbs and the vet said she needs to lose a lb. It is so nice to see other pups with ears down and hair that isn't magazine perfect!!! I have people ask me, too if Tinka is all Yorkie. Well, world - the answer is YES!!!:D omega |

2 Attachment(s) I've posted pics of our tubby Tucker here before but took this one recently. I just weighed him and he's 14 pound of solid muscle. He's the King of our tribe. Before I cut his hair, after a bath the hair on his head would poof out so much he looked like a lion. |
Super cute! He looks like a darling.:) |

This is a picture of him when he was 18 months old, right before he and Reggie had their first litter of 3, Sassy, Samson, and SugarPlum in 2001. |
Larger yorkie 1 Attachment(s) I am happy to see these posts. I have me a little man who is 14 weeks and 8 lbs. 2 ozs. I was told to expect him to be upwards of 15 lbs. He has got such a pleasing and happy disposition. I am so happy I got him |
My little Lulu is 16 lbs but she is overweight. She should be about 13 lbs. What can I say? The girl just loves to eat! Lol. She takes after me, her mommy! I try to take as many walks as we can, but the weather interferes a lot of the time. I love her ...shes such a good kid! I love yorkies....they have the best personalities! |
SOMEONE- Please define "teapot". The OP said 7+... I thought teapot was like 10+. I don't even know. I don't even know what kind of yorkie I have. I teapot, a teacup, a teakettle, a micro... etc. Please explain. I mean I don't really care because Bailey is my boo boo and I will love her forever and ever, but I'm just wondering. |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=90857 Maddie 11.5 pounds....................Proud to be a Teapot:D |
1 Attachment(s) Here is my Baby Bear. He is about 10 lb, or more:) Did not weight him in a while |

2 Attachment(s) My Leila is a whopping 13.2 pounds, and the most loveable darling. Lucy is 4 pounds and is my littler energiser bunny. Attachment 358810 Attachment 358811 |
I have a 4 month old puppy that weighs 8.5 pounds...... pretty sure he is going to get somewhat bigger! He is a treasure and so smart! I had a yorkie that weighed 7 pounds as an adult and had issues with his back legs and allergies... I believe the fact that my puppy is bigger, he will probably have less health issues. |
1 Attachment(s) Here is my 11 pound bundle of pure joy Gizmo 5 years old |
3 Attachment(s) Wow, this is an old thread!! So I suppose I should contribute to it, since I wasn't a member back in '06!! Here is my 3yr old Jackson, who weighs in right at 16lbs give or take. Sometimes he's 15.8 and sometimes it ranges up to 16.5lbs... I think it just depends on the day or the scale, lol. But he's super active, smart, sweet, and a perfect pal. Not a chubby 16lbs either, he's in fantastic shape. At 12 weeks, he was already 6lbs! |
