![]() Congrat's. She is cute. I can't see the moher but the father is georgous. I have rarely seen a Yorkie with the tail intact but he is a beautiful dog. I am sure the little princess will grow up to be the spitting image of him........ ![]() hope the months flies by....

![]() Yes, I do know that it is more painful. Poor girl, but I would imagine that it isn't any more uncomfortable than having a tooth pulled for some, or being spayed. While both are done more for health reasons that aesthetic ones, the pain level I would imagine would be similar. ... ![]() I'll be sure she has pain medication if the vet says she can have it.

![]() I know, I made an assumption that people would understand what I meant. The point is that I would be waiting until they did need to be removed, if at all. If none are to be removed, then I'll still wait until she more mature physically before I submit her to any sedation.

![]() I can't agree that it is "very painful to have a tail removed." I had a cat's tail removed when it was about 4 years old - and years later, I had the better part of a dog's tail removed at 7 years old. Both of these surgeries were necessary amputations. The cat had been in a fight with a racoon. And, the poor dog - was hit by a car - with the only injury being his tail. Anyway - both of these pets came home to a quite comfortable and speedy recovery. I remember my dog wagging (what was left of his tail) like crazy the day after his surgery... neither of these pets seemed very uncomfortable at all and healed quickly. I think this might be far less painful than docking a young puppy's tail without putting it to sleep....which is often done. Carol Jean

![]() Yorkiegal719, Is there any way you could go back and look at your paper work and tell me which airline your breeder used to get your girl home from Germany? Also, where in Hungary your breeder lives? Right now shipping is $600 and if I can cut that down in anyway I may be willing to do so. Lexi Rae, GREAT! How do you like her overall temperment and structure? Any problems at all? What kennel is she from? Thanks again guys!

![]() I got my yorkie from Pellerd-ore kennel in Hungary. They drove her to Germany too I think for the flight. She went to Detroit and went through customs and then came to me in MN safe and sound. The airline was northwest.

![]() uabutterfly- SURE when will you be coming into town? PM me and we'll talk about the particulars! ![]() Breezeeaway- Sorry if I butchered your screen name, but no they do not dock tails in Hungary. It's my understanding that it is currently illegal and considered unethical or inhumane by most. This goes for all breeds that you would traditionally see cropped or docked. ![]()
