| OM Gosh! I hope Stewie is alright! Do you really think it's from the couch incident? Stewie must know that was an accident. I still wonder if something spooked him while you were gone. Maddie sends lots of kisses to Stewie. Keep us updated!

| My daughters dog would ignore her when she would come home from her dads after she spent the week-end..she would be mad at her..but she never acted afraid...i agree with the girls..i bet she did something she wasn't supposed to...i too like you have accidently knocked mine off the couch..accidents happen but I think they know that..don't feel like you aren't a good owner...it happens to anyone that owns an animal..i'm sure there have been many a yorkies in the world that have a toe stepped on or had their poor little heinys sent flying off the back of a couch or chair..lol |

I know how you feel about feeling like a bad mom even though it was an accident. I poked Gus with a toy (it's a cat toy on a stick) while playing once and he was afraid to come near me for a while. Stewie will forgive and forget.

| I would check him to make sure nothing is hurting him. Is he acting normally except when dealing with you? He could be responding out of fear to pain...

| Kristy, I am so glad Stewie is okay, but is he walking with his tail tucked under at all? Kia injured a disc in her back years ago, and behaved the same way as Stewie. Sheila |
