Yesterday when I was laying on the couch, he was laying on the back of the couch (like a cat) looking out the window. I put my hand up without looking to pet him and I accidentally poked him and he lost his balance and slipped off the back of the couch. He was holding on for dear life. I grabbed him and kissed him and apologized a million times. I think he's afraid of being on the couch w/ me because he thinks I am going to push him off or something. I feel AWFUL. |
I'm glad Stewie is okay. You had me worried for a second.
I know how you feel about feeling like a bad mom even though it was an accident. I poked Gus with a toy (it's a cat toy on a stick) while playing once and he was afraid to come near me for a while.
Stewie will forgive and forget.
