| Floppy Ears My husband was showing off a picture our new little furbaby and a person he works with (who has Yorkies) said that we would have to get Dylan's ears clipped in order for his ears to stand up. Is there something wrong with floppy ears? I personally like them. Do they have to sand up? He is only 4 months will they eventually stand up? I can't stand the thought of doing that to my little baby.

| Your baby is soooooo cute I personally think his floppy ears are adorable and would not get them clipped. Georgie's ears are clipped but if I got him and they weren't they would stay floppy. |

| I think that they start to stand up on there own after a while. My puppy is four months old and she has one stick up and the other one is still floppy. I don't think there is anything wrong with floppy ears becauseI think that they are cute no matter what.

| Since the pup is only 4 months old they may go up on their own. And you do not have to get the ears clipped you can tape them up. Just type in the search taping ears and you will see demonstrations on how to do it. It is just a personal preference but I think that the floppy ears are cute!

| bunjee's got floppy ears and as adorable as ever! i think ear clipping is absolutely unncessary. as someone else suggested, you can tape them to help them stand if it's important to you. i just trim the hair along his ears. if they stand they do. if they don't, that's okay too. |

| looks like your baby has way too much hair to stand on their own. Shave them down to where they look like velvet with a trimmer. if that fails, cut the hair off with siccors. can you believe I have forgotten how to spell sissciors. major brain fart right this minute. LOL |

| I think your little guy is adorable with his floppy ears. Since he's only 4 months old they still may stand if you trim the hair on them. I tried trimming and taping my yorkies' ears but they did not like the tape so they both have floppy ears. |

| If you want them to stand I would clip the HAIR from the ears and keep it that way for a bit. But it has been my experience that if they are not up by this time they won't usually stand. But it's your choice as it is your puppy. You might even clip the hair and tape them for about 4 or 5 days and then take the tape off and see if they stand. |

| Ok so my vet said that the ears will go up and down during teething. Gracie had to ears standing up by the time she was 3 month and then one fell and did not go back up until she was 11 months old and done with teething......
