| Help with playing toooooooo rough.... Ok..I've got Lucy that's 18 weeks old and about 4 lbs. (yorkie) and then I have Tank that's 13weeks. old on friday and about 7 or 8 lbs. - Tank is just to rough with Lucy. Even my husband agrees, so it's not just me being overprotective. Sometimes they play good and we don't have to worry about them but other times when Tank get's really hyper he won't stop dive bombing Lucy and running overtop of her and grabbing her hair and pulling her across the floor. I have to put him in his crate about 3 to 5 time a night becasue he won't listen and keeps being to rough. We got Tank as a playmate for Lucy for when we are away but now I'm too scared to leave them alone.... Any suggestions from anyone who has been through this. Is it just an age thing and they'll grow out of it?? If so, then when??? This is driving me crazy... I'm scared one of my baby's are going to get hurt. Crystal

But thanks for the advice!! My Emma is being the same way with Lyric. For awhile they are fine and then I think she just gets to excited. I know once he gets bigger he will be fine because he trys to stand his own and has even made her squeak a little cry out already, he's just a little guy right now.

| Is Tank new to the family? I am hoping that with time, Emma and Lyric will learn to be around each other without playing/fighting all the time. I think you are doing a good thing though teaching him to be nice from the start. One thing I try is when they are getting to rough, I hold both of them in my lap and make them calm down together. That way they both see that they can be calm together. I think as he gets older, Tank will realize how much bigger he is. I have seen a few posts saying how gentle their big dogs are with the smaller ones. It sounds like he's just being a puppy right now, and not realizing how big he is.

| Yea, we got Tank a month ago. Sometimes they play great there favorite game is tug of war. But then sometime tank will let go of the toy and jump on Lucy's head and bite! I wanted to get pics. of Lucy Sat. after I got her and Tank back from the groomers but it had to get the bow out of her hair right away. Everytime I turned around I would hear Lucy squeal and tank was pulling her across the floor by her top knot. OUCH!!! Crystal
