Is Tank new to the family? I am hoping that with time, Emma and Lyric will learn to be around each other without playing/fighting all the time. I think you are doing a good thing though teaching him to be nice from the start. One thing I try is when they are getting to rough, I hold both of them in my lap and make them calm down together. That way they both see that they can be calm together.
I think as he gets older, Tank will realize how much bigger he is. I have seen a few posts saying how gentle their big dogs are with the smaller ones. It sounds like he's just being a puppy right now, and not realizing how big he is. |
