| Maybe panting is a way for them to ward off car sickness, but also yorkies have a very keen sense of smell, and maybe they can smell gasoline fumes and other "car smells" that we don't even notice and might bother them. Best to give them some air and if possible let them see through the windows. |

| I was having the same problem with Harley, I bought a car seat and he has thrown up in it both times I took him. Also he has been doing the panting too. But, he goes crazy to go in the car. I cant figure it out. I thought he was getting motion sickness in the car. Poor thing makes me feel so bad. |
