| I bathe her when she needs it, sometimes every two weeks, sometimes every week. It just depends on what she has been up too and what she has gotten into! The longest I've gone between baths was 4 weeks and that was when my daughter was a newborn. I did not have time to bathe myself let alone bathe Gracie too! That's when I decided to just bring her in the shower with me. It was a great way for us to get one-on-one time together when Mia was a newborn! I still do that every now and then when I am having a hectic week, sometimes I have Mia and Gracie both in the shower with me at the same time!!!

| every 6 months?! that is craziness. i mean, imagine if a PERSON didn't wash their hair for 6 months.....it's the same thing, only it's their whole body. henry gets a bath once a week, usually on monday mornings. i read in a yorkie book that it was okay if you bathe them twice a week? seems like a lot, but maybe it depends on the yorkie and whether their skin drys out or not. i have been using johnsons baby shampoo on henry and his skin doesn't flake anymore. |

| Sully gets a bath once a week....but we put it off when we can an extra day or two. Basically, he gets a bath when he starts stinkin' LOL. He gets really dry skin and so we hate to give him a bath too often if we can help it.

| Edie sleeps on her Dad's pillow. When it starts to stink, he gives her a bath!! Usually once a week, although in the winter, we'll go longer. Sometimes she gets into a mud puddle or something, and we have to give her a bath no matter where we are in the schedule. |

| Any suggestions on making hair softer and smoother??? My baby has some nappy hair (ha ha). Yesterday i put some biolage conditioner on him and it seemed to help some, but for as much hair as we have between the both of us i can't see us both using 15 dollar conditioner. (i can only imagine how much it would cost) thx. |

| My first groomer told me once a week was too much, so I switched to once a month...then I checked in here...then I switched groomers. Ginger now gets her bath & blowdry every Saturday morning so that she can look pretty for her agility class...she usually stays pretty fresh looking for most of the week, depending on what she gets into. I use a puppy shampoo (although, when this is gone, I'm going to try CC) because its mild and doesnt' bother her eyes. I believe the only time I've had a problem with her skin was food related. One bath a week hasn't bothered her at all. |

| Mojo gets his bath about once every week to two weeks (just depending). I normally do his teeth anywhere from 3 times a week to once a week. We try for atleast twice a week, but sometimes that doesn't happen. I do not trim his nails though....never could bring myself to do it....but the groomer does it every month or if I go to the vet, they do it (free). I have used some kind of shampoo from PetsMart or Wal-Mart or PetCo....I think it is Hartz brand, but it has beads in it and it makes his hair smell so nice and soft and shiny.......I know some might frown on a cheap shampoo, but for him, it has worked nicely. - Until I find something else that we like.

| My vet told me in Colorado where it is so dry, I should only bathe Starsky once a month. I usually go up to 3 weeks, depending how dirty he gets or sticky around the mouth. When it gets warmer I may start every 2 weeks.
