Here's some Bark Park photos! I went out to see the park tonight, and Wosie loved it! There were no other small dogs there as it was getting dark, so she had the enclosure all to herself. The only way she would let me catch her after having her freedom like that was to get her in the airlock, lol!

Sorry the pics are blurry. I had the setting to night photo as it was so dark, and I really should have been using a tripod.

One of these photos is the "air lock" double gate system so that you can secure your pup before leaving the enclosure. Pretty cool! I just love the combo human/dog water fountain!

You guys, this is so cool!!

I told you that the dog park had listed our event on their site, yes? I just got off the phone with a lady who has a doggie day care in Greensboro, and she owns a yorkie and knows a ton of people who own yorkies! So she is calling all her yorkie buddies, too! Oh my goodness, we are going to have a YORKIE FESTIVAL!!! YIPPEE!!

Did you also know there are two Yorkie Rescue groups in Greensboro? She has fostered for them before, and will be calling them as well to come exercise their dogs with us! Oh this is going to be cute cute cute!!!

I can't WAIT!!!

This morning I am going to hit up some pet goods stores and groomers for donations towards prizes, and I am taking Wosie with me. Should be FUN!!

My bestfriend lives in NC in Apex, how far is that? I will have to tell her to come with her Yorkie.. Charlie.

Charlie is more than welcome, Rhonda hon! Apex is about an hour and a half away, but I promise to make it worth the drive! I think we have some folks coming from even farther away than that! OMG, I think there's going to be a LOT of yorkies there!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

I tried to get the two local Petsmarts to donate prizes, and no go. I had to contact corporate, so we will see how that goes. I'll let you know! I think I will be able to get something from Dreama's groomer, her former owner Crissy, and I am pretty sure I can get something from my vet, (other than Greenies which he STILL sells in his office!!

)

I'll keep trying other places too. I am betting smaller stores will give.

I contact a friend of mine and she said she would send a pet blinker i have one for Sassy you put them on their collar and you twist it and it blinks so they are eaiser to see. I never let sassy go out without a leash but i can't see very well at night and she her leash extends so i like having this so i can see where my little one is at all times. I gave her your address so i hope she gets it right out to you. I think you will enjoy this as well.
