| We got a car seat...Finally I got Fagan a lookout carseat for the console in my Envoy. We just took him for a little ride and he loved it! He was so calm. He usually is whimpery and wants to be right in my lap which I know is not safe for either of us so he doesn't get to come in the car very often. Well not anymore!! Now he can come on more car trips with me. I'm so excited!!

| I still say the doggy carseat from Lookout was one of the best purchases I ever made!! i couldn't do w/o it as I use it everyday and it allows me to drive safely w/o worrying about my babies. |

| How do you all get your yorkies to stay put in one and not be squirmish? I don't think Teddy will be able to stay in one. Usually when we go out, my husband would drive and Teddy stays on my lap. Even then, he tries to get get out. Should we keep on having him in my lap when we go somewhere even while my husband is driving or still put him in a car seat? |

| I know what you mean! Rowdy loves his console lookout too! He can sit up and be a pointer beacon or he can rest his head on my shoulder or arm - or he can curl up for a nap (which is what he does on long trips). I was afraid he wouldn't like it - but he LOVES it. I'm so glad that your baby loves it too!!!

| Do you guys keep it in the vehicle all the time or take it in and out? It's a little bulky. I might take it out and put it back in when Fagan will be in the car with me. I think it's gonna turn out to be one of the best buys for him.

| I just throw it in the backseat, or trunk (if I'm in my Impala) and it stays there all the time. We have 3 vehicles and it is always in one of them!

| Tatum LOVES her console lookout carseat. I feel so much safer with her in it. She doesn't ride with me very often - I commute an hour each way to work every day so I don't like to travel much on the weekends. She goes for short trips "to town" occasionally though. With mine, it can stay attached to the console but slide backwards into the back seat area when I'm not using it. Does that make sense? That gets it out of the way. I told a story a while back about my car accident with my toy poodle when he was 8 weeks old. He was with me for the first time for a short ride and was running back and forth across the seats because he was so excited. Well, the worst happened - I ran off the road trying to control him, flipped the car many times and ended up across the road with the bottom of my car against a tree. Freaked us both out but fortunately we were perfectly fine (physically). Really made me nervous to drive with him after that. To make things worse, my husband would let him ride on his lap with his feet on the steering wheel so that's what he (the dog) expected from me too and I wouldn't do it. Wish I would have known about doggie carseats back then! It was my very first purchase after getting Tatum and I don't regret it one bit!
