Yes, your Yorkie should be treated the same as a child when it comes to riding in a car. If you were in an accident Teddy would be thrown into the air and slammed into the dash or windshield
. With a lookout seat they are attached to a strap through their harness so they will not go flying into the air. Also if you were in an accident or just stopped they can't jump out when someone opens the door. All of mine love their lookout seats.
