| These are gorgeous babies. If you read the "about us" link on the home page, it says that the dogs have the entire run of the house and the garden. There are pictures of the dogs running in the backyard of their home. But the pix were shot at some distance from the dogs and it looks like they had shorter coats then. I think the biggest thing about growing a beautiful coat is regular brushing and keeping the baths going for a clean coat. Hard to do, especially with my female, who loves to be outside almost every daylight moment if the temp is above 40 or so. She's crazy! |

| Sorry guys but when i see that coat(yes its amazing)i ask my self how many suckers-vs-gum can my 4 year old and 9 year old fit in there.I love the long hair but keep my yorkies short because something sticky always finds its way in there.

| In one of my Yorkshire Terrier books, I saw a full-body jumpsuit that show yorkies wear outside to keep from getting dirty. They look so funny.... wearing the full-body jumpsuit, and then having their heads and faces wrapped. It just looks so uncomfortable to me! It would be a FULL-time job keeping them groomed and gorgeous like that.... What dedication!

| Wow - beautiful. Gracie's hair is only about 3.5 inches long and she is 17 months old. She has cotton hair and it grows so slowly.

| There is no doubt that the Yorkies on that site are dripping in coat! But from my experience show dogs (coated) don't have a lot of fun. They can not play with others, due to breaking of hair. Yes they are wrapped except in the ring. Now some dogs don't mind too much. But some hate it and you can tell. Usually you have clippers in hand when you finish the dog (Champion). Off the coat goes and now they can run and play.My pebbles didn't like to be shown so her breeder didn't finish her. Again I'm sorry to be a bummer.
