If you look at Bodyguards Pedigree you will seeCh. Premar's Sweet Gador Aide (Gator is
her famous Father) My Crystal is Ch. Premar's Crystal Deelight and I am quite sure
that is her litter mate. So Crystals sister would be the grandmother of this lovely
dog. I've never gone to a stud book before but I will...I suppose they are in the
main libraries. I was told once Gador Aide was a litter mate of hers.

Okay, I might get told I don't know what I am talking about but all I see in that coat is length. There is no sheen and the ends of the coat are dry, like mine after a few bleach applications. Am I just missing that shiny look??
The dog is beautiful and I am sure is a knockout. Do they keep the coat in wrappers all the time? That is the only way I can figger the baby could walk..

Well, I am sure they keep him wrapped! Which I don't have a clue how to do. I've seen pictures, but not being a show person, I am at a loss to know how to do it. But that is a beautiful coat, and I'm sure worth all the work.

Well I found out Gator Aide has a different dam than Crystal but they are related somehow if I can ever figure it out. Also there is a member here that I just found out after posing this that is related to my Crystal in some way (trying to figure that one out too, in fact her breeder had my Crystal for awhile) Never know what YT is going to turn up.

A dog with a coat like that is definitely kept wrapped so it never touches the floor. Also he probably doesn't have to worry much about walking (except in the show ring) because he probably doesn't get to go out and play. I've heard of dogs with show coats like that confined to single rooms with smooth tile or linoleum floors. Nothing as rough as carpet that might damage the coat. Beautiful coat but kinda sad too.

Yes, it is. There are always those that go to the extreme. Most show breeder's dogs live a regular life over 300 days of the year.

That's gorgeous, and I thought Toto's was hard to take care of!! Her's drags the floor and drives me crazy some days! As soon as the weather gets warmer .... she's getting a serious haircut ... I need a break!

I know what you mean - there's days I want to get out the trimmers and probably will for the summer because lately I haven't been as on top of Chanels hair like I used to and she really needs a makeover....
