| Best brushing tools How often do you bathe your Yorky. Elli is about five months old. Also, what are the best brushes or detangling combs to use. Her hair is so fine. Thoughts, ideas, tips? Even comforting tips would be appreciated. She’s not keen on her bath times. But then again probably no fur kid is. |

| I bathe mine generally every 2 weeks. I would sing to mine as puppies and it seemed to keep them calmer. You can put on soothing/calming music. The more often you do it the quicker the generally get used to it. I hate puppy coats that hair mats up so easily that no matter how hard you try you can still get mats. Combs with rotating teeth are good for some tangles. I had mine shaved into a puppy cut by the groomer as soon as I could lol.

| Lovetodream, Yes I have decided from the beginning that I want her to have a puppy cut. She has gotten used to the brush as we sit in our comfort chair and I talk and brush with calmness. It’s become a positive thing. The calming music is such a great idea. I am set up with a mobile groomer to start next week. She has a lot of great reviews and 20 + years experience. Thank you for the great tip for in between grooming days. |

| I bathe them every two to three weeks & blow dry using conditioner & Tangle Teaser & Isinis brushes. Then brush daily using Ice on Ice spray if needed. They are all in full, long coats. |

| I recently purchased a "Wet" brush. It is a detangler for people, but I find it is great on some of my pups' hair. I used different brushes for them as they all seem to have different hair. I also like Chris Christensen brushes. I recently found a new shampoo that I love! It is Dermoscent Atop 7 and is soap free. My Hannah's hair has never been as silky as it is now after using that shampoo.
